Jack. Every time I see this knife it makes me smile. So please forgive my ignorance (I've been afraid to ask as you've no doubt described it elsewhere), but what make / brand of knife is this?
I gotta say, it's one of the nice things about Texas. Not only doesn't anyone mind, but if it attracts any attention, it's from folks wanting me to sharpen their pocketknife. Sometimes I can get a free beer out of it, so I guess I'm a professional sharpener now.Nice line-up r8shell, gotta love a bar where you can drink AND sharpen your knives![]()

Ron, hope you friend is on the mend! That is a beautiful knife as well. What year is it from?Today Pam and I are off to visit one of my guys who is in the hospital. Afterward we plan to grab some lunch and maybe a stop by Sams before heading home. I am carrying this new to me GEC #53 Stockman from '08. Buttery Smooth Elk and 440C, what's not to like.Even if it is a 2nd!

Jeff, that's a great Appaloosa. May I ask how you get that shine on the bone scales?
Ron, hope you friend is on the mend!
Frank, that red bone looks great. I do love mine in blue bone.A Case Swayback Jack in CV and red bone...

Gary, I can't tell from this pic is that joint is sunk or semi-sunk. Regardless, it's quite handsome. Who manufactured it?![]()
Rounder on ride along today. Great knives and pics today!
R8shell, that quartet demonstrates the true meaning of 'pocket worn'. I especially like the Buck.Today I spent some time at the local watering hole, sharpening some humble classics.

Hi Tom, The joint is semi-sunk. It's a Small Rounder made by Jerry Halfrich. It's 3 5/8" and a pretty robust knife.Gary, I can't tell from this pic is that joint is sunk or semi-sunk. Regardless, it's quite handsome. Who manufactured it?
Thanks. I tried again. I don't know what's wrong. Yesterday I got it to work surrounding the link with html in brackets but today it's not working. Maybe my connection is just too weak. I even failed to get some text to post. Sheesh.Oops, duplicate post.
Thank you. The Buck is a Camillus made 301 I just picked up. I'm used to the smaller 303 size, but I'll give it a try once I get it sharp.R8shell, that quartet demonstrates the true meaning of 'pocket worn'. I especially like the Buck.
GT @5K Qs , speaking of Bucks, that is one handsome dude!
Mine for today, a new acquisition. I'm using recycled pics since I'm intrigued by the black background I was able to achieve with Tom's recently mentioned lightbox. Let me know what you think.
