Mine for today, a new acquisition. I'm using recycled pics since I'm intrigued by the black background I was able to achieve with Tom's recently mentioned lightbox. Let me know what you think.

As for the knife, I really like this Case. It's a handful at 4 1/4" closed, but only 3/8" at it's thickest, so relatively unobtrusive. With CM154 SS it's a departure for me (other than Case SS, which I don't count due to it's low RCH). It was dyed green by the previous owner, but still has it's original brown undertones in the jigging.

I like the black background Tom , nice photo.

For me today, I think the farmer is appropriate as I am attempting for the first time to grow strawberries :).

I'm having terrible trouble posting and acknowledging people's quotes of my posts, so thank you anyway. And the site keeps logging me off permanently after I start to navigate through pages. Is anyone else having this problem?

Anyway hopefully this works.

I've been logged out quite a few times Donn :( Is that a Bantam?

Great stuff Tom, good luck with those strawberries

Thank you very much :) Sadly, there are no stamps at all on the tang :( I'm pretty certain it was made in Sheffield, where I bought it, and it's a really nicely made knife. I wish I knew the maker. I've dubbed it my Abbeydale Jack :) Here's a pic with the blade open

Thanks Jack. It's beautifully proportioned and a great find. MJ.

No it's my trusty Vic Farmer. Usually only my winter walking carry but it was I had to hand whilst rectifying a Halfords screw up of my bike chainset.
There's a thread been started in the Tech Support forum by a member called 'Phaint' who seems to be experiencing similar problems. Just found out I can't do emoticons now either.

Post hike fluid replacement.

Is that a G&T? Cos it's what I taste when I look at that photo!

Hope you got it fixed OK  It's one thing after another, I have the same issue with emoticons, have since the switch. Where I know it, I usually just type in the code  Sometimes they work, mostly not - and they're rubbish anyway!

I thought I'd carry this old Colonial fish knife today.
This handle shape is very comfortable in hand.

Nice one, Mykel! I like those old Colonial and Imperial toothpicks; my favorites are the 2-blade versions with a "real" secondary blade like a pen, rather than the more common scaler blade.

That's a graceful, illustrious knife, Frank! Weren't they quite the rage when they first came out?

:D It's a tough name for rhymes, and doesn't lend itself to many good nicknames, either. Good on ya fer tryin' :D

Today I spent some time at the local watering hole, sharpening some humble classics.

Thanks, r8shell. :) Those are some iconic folders you posted! What model is that single-bladed Old Timer? (I aspire to someday be adept enough at sharpening that I could do it while drinking! :D)

Thanks a lot my friend, I like your Buck Canoe :) You're doing well with the multi-quote ;)

At least you weren't r8shell-ly abused GT! :D

Carrying these two old favourites today :) Have a great Sunday everyone

Thanks for the encouraging comments, Jack. :) For me, the multi-quoting works almost exactly like it did before the software "upgrade". I don't really mind the "compressed format" of the quoted posts. The 20-photo limit is somewhat restricting for multi-quoting, but it's not as bad as it originally looked compared to the previous 75-image limit, since that 75 counted both emojis and photos as images, while the new set-up doesn't seem to count emojis. The 10K character limit is also somewhat annoying, but if I could stay "caught up" every day, it would rarely be a problem; it's only when I'm trying to respond to several days of posts that I compose posts that exceed 10^4 characters.
Good rhyme! :D I couldn't figure out how to use bi-r8shell or multi-r8shell in my nursery rhyme.
That certainly is a satisfying pair you've posted!

I've taken a leaf from Jack Black's weighty tome.

Terrific two-blade rosewood lambsfoot, Jer; that's a keeper for sure!

Nice, Alan! Has that marvelous drop point cocobolo 25 completely replaced that superb bone 73 you were so fond of for a while?

Thanks, Tom; that Buck canoe is one of their Chinese-made line, but I like it a lot. :) I like you photos of the green back pocket Case using the lightbox. I need to set up something like that for next winter!
