Large folding hunter with Coke bottle handle in rosewood(?). New York City Knife Co. Hammer Brand 1936-1937 (per tang stamp of "arm & hammer). Still tight and sharp.
Looks like a hefty knife, Duckdog!

Probably need Hammer Brand biceps to wield that bad boy!
Cool Azul, Dee! I'd walk a mile for a Camel!!
Your Case Barlow is a beauty, e.c.!!

Wonder if Case will ever revive that pattern?
GT Most kind, thank you. Don't know about admirable knives but you are an admirable contributor here.
Regards, Will
Thanks for the kind words, Will, you silver-tongued devil!

Thank you very much my friend

Yes, I think so too, a shame they didn't use it more

Hope it's plain sailing from now on

I don't think I've ever seen that model before, certainly noticed the lock anyway
I appreciate your responses, Jack: thanks!
5K Qs
That's the highest scrabble score ever for a pair of traditional knives.

I enjoy seeing everyone's knives, Alan, but I think we'd all get tired of my comments even more quickly if I repeatedly said, "Awesome!", "Cool!", and "I like that!" So I try to expand both my vocabulary and my knife knowledge simultaneously.
Thanks GT. I like the RR. It's bigger than I like. Perhaps I'll look into the possibility that they make the Soddie Jr size.
Looks like Will has already covered this better than I intended to. It's a great knife IMHO!
Actually Bob, RR do a Junior sized Sodbuster (3.5") too with or without liner lock. A fine inexpensive work-knife which, as you pointed out, arrives with very decent edges.
Thanks, Will

Now both are in the pockets . Shown with some debris from a Family Gathering yesterday

Congrats on the #25, Harry!

Looks like a very useful pair! (I've never had McEwan's, but I'm rather partial to Scotch ales.

)
Today's carry, back to a favorite.
Sublime scarlet Barlow, Dean!!

Utica Kutmaster Tungsten Stainless. I was happy to find this last week.
...
Or these rather.
Congrats on the tungsten twins, Jer!!

I am getting an early start on Tuesday morning. This Peach Seed Clip TC will be there with me!
Beguiling Barlow, Ron!!

The 72 today (and most of last week). 25 is up tomorrow.
Compelling couple of knives, ATB!!

I recently got a 72 just like yours (thanks, Dee); very satisfying in both form and function!

Thanks Gary, have a nice vacation!
Thank you for the comments GT. And thank you even more for the hearty laugh brought on by the second one.
Yes, I'm back to my routine of seeing what knife my hand is drawn to each morning. Today it was this #14:
(Recycled picture, but I did drive by that spot today with it in my pocket).
And, nope, no withdrawal symptoms from the GEC 66. I expect it'll get to ride in my pocket again in the not too distant future.
I'm enjoying seeing your vacation carries and glad to hear that your dog's doing better. Have a great rest of your vacation!
Mark and Greg, thanks for the vacation felicitations!

Greg, always good to see a knife shot at "The Spot", even if it's a recycled pic!

I'm sure that, even in your pocket driving by, that yellowheart (?) #14 brought some sunshine to the location.
This Gerber has been in my pocket this evening. This little guy rings most of my chimes; and
it cuts as if the world were made of hot butter.
Such an intriguing knife, Frank!

(And you can turn a phrase, too!

)
Gallant pair to share, mon frère!

I think that Imperial Barlow is a classic, Bloefield!!

First new-purchase Case for me on a rainy Tuesday. Sycamore peanut.

edit: Blah! Photos look like garbage by the time I crop them down enough to allow for a direct upload. I guess I will stop being lazy and go back to posting through flickr.
Maybe this is better...
Wow, Jeff!!

When I saw the first photo (and didn't realize there was a second if I scrolled down), I thought, "That's an interesting look for a peanut." But then I discovered the other, much different, version that's even more fascinating!!

Great shot! Is that fidget spinner thing in motion?!?

Why is this model called "sycamore"? The covers aren't sycamore wood, are they?
That photo makes me wax nostalgic, Greg!

These two today in the wilds of Long Island at Antiques Roadshow.

That pair is definitely photogenic, Alan!

I tend to be a fan of quite plain bolsters, but I have to confess that threaded bolsters are classy, not ostentatious!

...
Hoping this Case will be inoffensive in an office environment.
Inoffensive? YES! Invisible? NO!

Go Tigers! Love the black and orange.
After going through withdrawals from not carrying a slip joint at work I finally decided to add some paracord to a pocket sheath to attach to my belt.
So far it seems like it'll do the trick!
It is not as pretty as one of the custom made ones, but it'll stop the shakes for now.
Looks good, Erik!

Necessity (or Frank Zappa) is the mother of invention!
I have a Rough Rider camp knife in my RFP:
I also brought a Vic Camper on our vacation because I might need the saw for cutting up basswood blocks for whittling projects:
