1981 Case Stockman
Some dope who owned it before me sanded the patina off the blades.
I got it jump started with some mustard.
I'll let the rest form naturally.
Can anybody tell me if its a medium or large?

What is the model number? Does it have half-stops on the blades? What's the length closed?

63032
No half stops
3.5 inches

Well, that'd be a medium stockman. Case takes a lot of liberty with "medium" though, ranging from 3.25" to 3.875".

Some time in the '70's Case discontinued the 6332. Older ones will have half-stops, with the later ones (late '70's) not having half-stops. Case then introduced the 63032 as the 6332's successor. I never did figure out exactly what years these changes took place.

Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to get me some info.

bladeboss It's a nice example, and for me a good pocket size as not big or heavy-yet three useful blades.

About patina though, a lot of people don't care for it and will polish it off their blades or use a Scotchpad type thing. I'm ambiguous about it, patina is fine when it's even but when blotchy or spotty is not attractive. It also needs constant care. Nice carry.

Handsome Forum knife, TheFort; the design on your pocket slip is REAL attractive!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

... Slipping these two in my pockets

Elegant pairing of white/black, Mr. Black!:thumbsup::cool:
But then I slipped into another pair of trousers at lunchtime, and for got to change knives! So ended up carrying these two this afternoon! ;)

I've thought about it a lot, I really didn't think I was going to be able to have a Knife of 2017 this year, a few nice knives, but for various reasons, nothing that I thought quite justified that title. Reckon I might have it now though ;)
Another fine pairing of white/black (and so much more ;)), Mr. Black!:thumbsup::cool: FOUR knives in one day?? :p:D

Thanks pal! :D Good-looking trio there
Thanks, Jack. :)

Nominations were submitted early this year. :D

For me, the nominating committee has only just begun deliberations. Great shot of your Guardian Lambsfoot, r8shell!:cool::thumbsup:

A terrific trio, GT, and the Boker is electrifying. I particularly enjoy the etched instructions on the screwdriver/scraper blade on how to unlock it.

Thanks, Stuart; I see what you did there!:D

Back into the woods today to check on a few deer hunting stands and blinds. Will be accompanied by these Queens: Queen City model 82 hunting knife (1925-1945) and Queen Steel model 52 large trapper (1958-1960).

Does the Queen Steel #52 have one spring or two? Impressive pair of venerable Queens, Stuart!:cool::thumbsup:

Two Case lock backs. Stag and bonestag. If Case downsized this Zulu to about 3 5/8" - 3 3/4" it would be near perfect IMO.

I'm not usually a big fan of stag bone, but your Zulu is exemplary, Alan!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

Your Camco Barlow is a champ, Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Me and Warren, sitting waiting to get discharged from hospital. Didn’t feel well yesterday and google says I needed to head to ER cause it mighta been heart related. So I did. They don’t think it was.

That must have been scary, SVT! Glad the pros cleared you as good to go!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good eye. Ruth is an auburn redhead, while June is somewhere in the middle headed back towards strawberry blonde ginger. They walk and talk different, and definitely have different attitudes. June is sweet as can be, gentle, and graceful. Ruth is a little spicy, likes to get into it ;)

It is not often that I have to look up a word to discover its meaning but that one is quite the example... For those who might be wondering; pulchritudinous means physically beautiful/comely.
Thank you for the kind words and a fine set of knives you have today, GT!

I've switched out a Lambsfoot for another Lambsfoot today, paired with the rugged Churchill.

Glad you enjoyed expanding your vocabulary, Dylan; I try to slip that word in every couple of months. I think I first heard it in a high school Latin class 50 years ago.:) Two wonderful knives in your pic; I think your ebony Churchill is devastatingly desirable!:thumbsup::cool::cool:

Scintillating Scagel, Dee!:thumbsup::cool::cool: Having that in your pocket must keep you fresh as a daisy! ;)

From yesterday's climb with the pup. Dowell in my pocket, Wilfred Works on top my head.

Great picture. Look at all that unscratted bone!

Speaking of scratting, I'll be carrying a certain knife named Pearl for the rest of the week, before sending her off on her world wide adventure:

Thank you, Jack! Things will return to normal before too long. I hope you are weathering the storms ok over there. Lovely pair of knives and the heather and compass are excellent highlights!

You've captured that Pocket Sunshine nicely Alan

These two today. Hopefully no one is getting tired of my Churchill, it is just a darn good knife, GEC did a good job on this one.
