What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You've got some great backdrops in your knife photos, donn!

Cheers btb. Sorry for the late reply just catching up on this thread. I've been helping a mate and his good missus move house. The ruins are Valle Crucis Abbey in North Wales, founded in 1201 by Cistercian monks.
The pillar is Eliseg's Pillar, about a half a mile north of the abbey but about 200 years older dating from the ninth century. The mound it was erected on though is much older; about 2000BC.

Great knives everyone

So, everybody.....
The knife is fine (my stockman) except for one thing...
The spey blade hits the liner when its closed. Its causing scratches on the blade.
What would you guys do?
Fix it somehow, or not let it bug you?

These two today. Hopefully no one is getting tired of my Churchill, it is just a darn good knife, GEC did a good job on this one.

Beyond belief that anybody is getting tired of your Churchill, least of all me

What I am getting tired of is waiting for my Cougar Claw Churchill:rolleyes::mad: Customs has had it a week but according to tracking they've sent it back to America!!!:poop: This without notifying me or asking for the usual 25% import duty... Actually, I don't believe the tracking nonsense and think it bears no resemblance to what's going on.......but it's hideously annoying!!:(

Only that model of Stockman doesn't have a Spey blade. Do you mean the Sheepfoot or the Pen blade? Three blade knives often have blade rub against each other, quite usual actually. If it's hitting the liner, a good sharpening may take the edge away from the liner.

These 2 Old Case XX USA today just to take pictures of them together . Both of them are from the 1965--1969 era , but they are different . One used to belong to a 94 year old WW II veteran and Farmer from Ripley County , Ind. and the other was gifted to me by the Legendary Campbellclanman Duncan . One was well loved and used a lot and the other was loved and is still like new . The brass liners on the well used are thicker than the other one . The well used one has the Main Clip Blade in front of the Pen Blade whereas the other one has the Pen in front of the Main Clip Blade and the Nail Nick is located forward of the tip of the Pen Blade . The Lesser used one is also what I call a Soup Bone version .
I Like Both of them very much . I drove 350 miles to an auction to bid on the well used one and the other one was sent to me from New Zealand by my friend and I never thought that I could EVER get one in that good of a condition .
BOTH are made of Unabtainium and Both now are Safe Queens .

Thanks again Duncan .
