Carrying and using an old favorite today~ Schrade 293Y Trapper. I bought this new back in the 70s, and carried it every day for a couple of decades. Loved it so much that I bought a second that still lives in it’s tube.
It's nice to have a spare, isn't it? :)

I'm still carrying Bob's Russell Jack, plus an Ettrick in buffalo horn.

Is that fork larger than normal?
"Is that fork larger than normal?" I thought so, too. Maybe the photo angle, but it seems much larger than the knife. I do like a serving tray that measures your main course. I had one like that, but the gradations were former cut marks on the edges - a bit confusing and a challenge to bigger cuts of meat. That steak looks EXCELLENT, Signalprick Signalprick !

It must be the angle or something. I like to use small cutting boards for cutting my dinner meat. Helps keep my edges sharp rather than cutting on a porcelain plate. The steak was excellent! Cooked on my newish Big Green Egg. Or as I like to call it, Best Grill Ever!
