What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

In that Orange glowing moment
Time held its breath
In a momentless spell of rapture
As your upturned face
Seemed to answer all my questions
But I still ask myself
Is there really any point
In making plans

You made a satisfying choice with that one my friend, and make plans to carry it long and often as not only is it beautiful, but this pattern excels in the hand and thrives on a diet of use

Regards,Will

I awoke this morning to find no water. Called the city utilities and fortunately, they are fixing a water line down the street. Although I'm without water, I say "fortunately" because it's temporary and means I don't have to hire a plumber. So I hung out at a restaurant for a while. Drank lots of coffee and sharpened a few knives. :)

Cool pic Will

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday :) It's cold outside here, and I'm not planning on going anywhere! Got a few chores to do, some good music on the radio, a well-stocked fridge, and an old carbon-steel kitchen knife to clean up and sharpen. These two are keeping me company, my 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot, and an old Croisdale Penknife :)

Oh yes, it was just fixed by the time I got home late in the afternoon. The workman told me it took all day because they kept running into the gaslines while digging up the street trying to find the break in the water line. No mishaps, and I was just glad it wasn't my problem. :D I met a friend for breakfast, which lasted past lunch, sharpening the waitress's knife got us a free slice of pie. ;)
The top knife is one I found in a pawn shop. I looked it up, it's a dental lab plaster knife, I guess for trimming molds of teeth. It's full tang, carbon steel, with some sort of prying thingy in the back; it looks like it would be handy around the house. Maybe I'll fashion a sheath for it. :)

That sounds like a great way to pass the time, too. I hope to do something similar.

I can't seem to throw the old Boker out of my pocket.
