What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one is a Christmas gift from my neighbor. Each year for the past several years, he goes to our local old-school hardware store and picks a Case knife out of the big floor standing display case as a present for me. I've explained the "coals to Newcastle" adage to him, but he says that he knows that I like and will use the knives that he gives me, so that's what he going to do. This year it's a Tony Bose inspired Sway Back Gent (T.B.61117 SS).

What a great relationship with your neighbor and a beautiful knife!

One of the best patterns Case has introduced in many years

Today I am carrying the recruit and peanut. I used the recruit to put together a bunk bed for my youngest. It was my screw drivers for all the bolts and screws. It worked great.

I added a bit driver to the recruit that I use on the flat head screw driver. It works very well.

Pretty cool! Can you tell me more about the bit driver?

I had a 1/4 inch drive bit holder that I drilled a hole in the side for some cord to go through. I can put any kind of bit in there I want and it stays with my knife. You can slide the large flat blade screw driver into the bit holder and it grabs the corners were you can drive screws. It works pretty good. It basically makes my recruit like a cyber tool. I got the idea from YouTube. Niko's Doulas Nikgyver is the guy on YouTube. He is a Vic trick genius.
