@Travman it is the dark linen micarta. It looks a bit like the paper micarta they used in 2015. It is a nice knife Travman. It looks better in real life than in photographs. It definitely is a work knife, but also looks classy. Thank you for the compliment.

I'm into the singles today, got the A. Wright & Sons Lambsfoot I won from bonzodog in a GAW a week or so ago. It's a piece of engineering art. Not a proud piece anywhere, the bolster, scales, liners, pins and back spring feel like they were all hand fit.

...and a Case/Bose Winterbottom bone Sowbelly I won from TLARbb (Ed) back in 2012. Both knives beautifully made, the attention to detail that Bose and Case put into the Sowbelly is evident everywhere you look. From the sunken joint, slender frame with a full blade snuggled into the handle.

Both knives were in and out of my pockets all day long.

It was delivered yesterday. They say 6-8 weeks. It had a little blade play and I plan to keep and use it forever so it'll be worth the wait to have it absolutely perfect. You'll love the H&T slip. Nice and thin but very high quality.

Sent my new (to me) cattle knife in as well, blade play, but called first to check on lead times. After a pleasant conversation I was informed they are running behind, being after the holidays and all, and the wait was more like 10 weeks as opposed to 8.

Thank you very much Sir . I guess that was my intentions . The 77 Northfield Barlow is a fine knife to have . I would hope that everyone who wants one will be able to get one .
