I take that's a brass space pen - owned mine a while but the patina just isn't moving alone - have you given yours some help?

Off to the local gun and knife show with my Lloyd in tow, typically not many knives of interest to me but I have to pick up ammo for an upcoming hog hunt.

Yes I did help it along, I wasn't patient enough to develop the patina naturally. I used some Birchwood Casey "Brass Black" and then hit it with some steel wool.I take that's a brass space pen - owned mine a while but the patina just isn't moving alone - have you given yours some help?
