@5K Qs That knife you've been seeing is a custom slip joint from French knife maker Roland Lannier. For his production knives he uses comic books, which he soaks in resin and then uses as covers (he also has covers made of concrete!), but I asked him if he would do a page from a work of art that I really like: View of Toledo by 16th/17th century artist, El Greco (Doménikos Theotokópoulos).

Here is a link to the Wiki article on the painting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/View_of_Toledo

Very cool!!!

I'll carry mine today. It sits on my nightstand. Well one of them :D This one is well worn, well loved. Still has excellent walk and talk. The bone is dreamy :) The pattern is quintessential

Wow, that pocket worn look is just screaming the love you have for that knife. Looks great.

These 14-hour workdays on Monday are not really designed for geezers like me!

As usual, you've posted a pair of winners, Tom!:cool::cool::thumbsup: A bit rare that they're both folders, though, isn't it? ;)

Alox this week is a Vic Secretary (thanks, Ken):

Non-SAK bailed knife this week is a Colonial scout. I have no recollection of where/how I got it, but I've had it for at least 30 years, I'll bet.

14 hour Monday's, yikes GT! Fantastic selection of SAK’s

Two folders is unusual for me, but I am trying to give Barlow knives a chance in 2018. I really want to like the pattern, but in the past I have not loved them in practice. I may succumb to a friend's challenge and carry one exclusively for a month :).
