What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another mild day. It’s hard to believe it’s still February.

Even though it's bulkier than I usually carry, I'm really enjoying my new (to me) camp knife. Some of my favorite knives are ones that I had to put a little work into. :) I still like a wee knife for detail work, so I paired it with a #09 Esquire today for Wooden Wednesday.

Tomorrow, will be an all Camillus day.

Found a cool headstone in a little country cemetary.
Boker tree brand radio electrician, and my old Sabre fishing knife which was a gift from Grandpa back when he was teaching me to fish. I think it’s my oldest knife since I don’t know what happened to my old Cub Scout knife.
Too early for fishing-water’s way too high and muddy. But the northerns will be moving soon.

I really like that picture my friend . The picture of the Boy , Mare & Colt on the Head Stone reminds me very much of a Statue , that I have always liked , at a park outside of Belvedere , Illinois .

Thanks my friend, nothing involving any skill! :D I have a LOT of books, and half my walls are lined with bookcases. I had two more delivered this week, tall ones, with glass doors, so I needed to fix the shelves in place, and fix them to the walls with brackets. I also had a large chest delivered, which I'm going to use for some of my camping stuff. Mainly I have just been humping stuff around the house! o_O :D

Here I am pretentiously perusing my library :D

Great photo of you in "your" library, Jack! :D

I was going to ask about the coins stuck in the piece of wood, but then I saw your response to someone else's question about it.

Busy day of outdoor work today. There’s not much that can’t be cut with these two, the Shuffler and Mudbug, both in natural canvas Micarta.

Nice pair, Buzz! The micartas match surprisingly well, considering the knives were manufactured by different companies on different continents.

Earth Wind & Fire ;) and rain rain rain

Great shots!

Have these in my pockets today : Taylors Eye Witness one a Sheepsfoot and the other a Lambfoot

After I dropped Nancy off at work , I went to check out The Car On The Lake . The first picture is the one taken on Feb. 14 , 2018

I think it sunk into the lake last year on Feb. 29 , 2017 .

Harry

Thanks for the Car on the Lake updates, Harry! I was home all day today, but as of yesterday there were still folks out on Lake Minnetonka in full size pickups. (I'm interested in taking up ice fishing now that we live here in MN, but the southerner in me is still a bit hesitant about driving on a lake, even in the dead of winter.)

Factory Sample #65 Schatt & Morgan Baby Sunfish Amber Brown Bone in 420 stainless, plus a smoking implement from Don Warren.

Nice pair! Both examples of some of GEC's more interesting jigging.

Well, I shouldn’t be surprised given that you mentioned the Janesville Knife Show yesterday.
But we must be neighbors.
That little cemetary is about three miles east of Belvedere.
The picture of the boy on the draft horse petting the colt is on the back of the stone, so you have to go around the back to see it.
