What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Daughters can be sort of exasperating, but dads know they mean well! :p:thumbsup:;) Nice glittering gold in grandpa's memory too!:)
:D:D:thumbsup:
If anybody has any information on this knife please let me know!
I don't know about Imperial of Germany, but I come across similar little pen knives from time to time. The bottom one in this picture with the carved pearl is marked Wismar, Germany. I'll have to dig it out to see if it has integral bolsters.

After some tinkering, I'm giving this Imperial from Trevor ( t.willy t.willy ) a test run today. Thanks, Trevor!

Hope everyone is ready for summer!!! :D

It's hard upon us today in Northern Virginia.Nice selection, Ron.

Going to carry my Davison this week. Maybe slip a Case Peanut into my watch pocket for any dirty work.

Beautiful knife. See below re peanut.

I love Case stag from that era. Those are two beautiful knives.

Thanks. And thanks for the great pictures. Hope that you have a great hike.

"The One"

Outstanding knife and pic, Alan.

It is hot and getting hotter here today, so I'm going for lighter totin' and cooler colors.

Went with the sodbuster jr for the week.

If someone gives you an old lawn mower that still runs fine, don't use it for years without giving it a good once over.
I just finished rectifying this and discovered it had no fuel filter , and boy do I feel dumb. I guess 7+ years if use without a fuel filter was taking a tole.
Got a cleaned spark plug, new gas cap, new fuel filter, new fuel line, and now it runs great.

singin50 singin50 Great photo Perry. I haven't seen any bobbins like those in years. We threw away thousands of bobbins and quills when we modernized to air jet and rapier looms.

Oh my...well done indeed ! I will have to look that one up !!

Been quite some time since i had a new one in my pocket. The past few days I've been getting acquainted with this 35 Calf pen, first thing I did was to knock off a bit of steel from the outrageously sharp top point on the catch part of the one armed blade. I'm really liking this knife a lot and plan to carry it for the foreseeable future and let the heat of summer and my sweat do their magic and create some patina and rust spots on it.

Looking forward to it :D:cool::thumbsup:

Carrying my typical work day knife while taking some pictures of a few of my knives that my children have gifted to me over the years . I will then put them into my collection database . They have been wanting me to do this for a few years now .

Just a few of what there will be in the database . Some of them Traditional and some of them maybe not , but all of them are pretty nice knives . Jigged bone , wood , Stag , Mammoth , and some Damascus .
