What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Always appreciated, GT, the RR sowbelly is a great pattern, a little slimmer than Case and Queen make 'em.

:D:D

Fascinating pic, Ken!:cool::cool: I had no knowledge of the Civil War era Copperheads, nor had I seen a Case copperhead pattern with the penny inlaid in the bone. Thanks for doubly expanding my horizons! :)

Gary, I don’t mean to misrepresent the history of a knife pattern. To the best of my knowledge, there is no connection between the political party of the Civil War era and the knife pattern. I have been led to believe that the name copperhead stems from GIs carrying them in Vietnam clearing tunnels. I can find no history on this Case with the miniature Lincoln head penny mounted in cover.

Thank you very much Dean, that's a very nice knife :) I need to dig around in my knife boxes and bring out a few I haven't carried in a while

Thanks, Jack. I'm looking forward to seeing what you dig up. :)

Thanks, Perry & Jeff & Dean; they're sure interesting knives. :) Jeff, I've had that horn-handled lambsfoot since about November, I think, and I've most often posted it in this thread as part of my quartet that I carry literally every day, regardless of what my rotation schedule dictates that I carry. Dean, I'm up to five knives with lambsfoot blades now.

That is a good looking flock of lambs, Gary!:thumbsup:

Thanks, GT! That smooth white bone makes a perfect canvas, me thinks. It's crazy to think this little booger is already 2! Time sure has flown by.

I love the patinated backsprings on your stockman! I don't know if any of my knives will ever get carried enough to develop such a deep, even patina.

...

Thanks, Jack. :)

Makes you wonder whether someone is celebrating or suffering when he says, "Make mine a double." ;):p Beautiful twin lambs, Jack!:thumbsup::cool:

Nice Lambsfoot collection my friend :)

LOL! It's all good here! :D

Thanks, Jack. I'm looking forward to seeing what you dig up. :)

That is a good looking flock of lambs, Gary!:thumbsup:

Thanks Dean, I'm long overdue for a visit to the vaults! ;) :D

That's a nice oldie. Who made it?

Gotta love the Moki. Great knives that don't get the attention that they deserve.

In the pocket right now:

Been quite some time since i had a new one in my pocket. The past few days I've been getting acquainted with this 35 Calf pen, first thing I did was to knock off a bit of steel from the outrageously sharp top point on the catch part of the one armed blade. I'm really liking this knife a lot and plan to carry it for the foreseeable future and let the heat of summer and my sweat do their magic and create some patina and rust spots on it.

I don't think of myself as a big fan of red knives, but that is some of the nicest bone, including color, I've ever seen, Ron!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I admire your attitude, r8shell! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I agree on both, GT.

Outstanding stag stock knives, Stuart!!:thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Pristine pearls of great price, Stuart!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, GT. More of the MOP mob to follow. Just digging into the pile now.

Earlier this week, I posted a pic of the Uncle Henry stockman I'm carrying this week. Stainless blades, of course, but I'm always delighted that the springs are carbon steel:

Nice all around!!
