Paul my friend that is a terrific pair your showing and a beautiful photo!!! They sort of remind me of you and @Campbellclanman Duncan. One is ancient and the other has developed a nice patina!!!I have MANY fixed blades, heck I have several from Mark (Markesharp) but this Stag one is clearly a favorite of mine. I had it in my shop as a shop knife but once I got this Joufuu sheath I can finally carry it. I have never met Mark but these Stag covers are a custom fitThis and the ancient just kinda work well together

Very nice 2014 Forum Stag Will!! A great year no doubt!!One of my favourite Forum Knives for me today.

You have captured the detail of the blade nicely! Thanks!
Stuart that is a pair of shiny beauties.I'm totin' a too-smooth duo for Twosday: a Winchester trapper and a Canal Street "Pinch". Thankfully, in these pics you can see how Canal Street sculpted the covers to better fit in hand.

John
You should be proud to carry THAT humble carry, Dean!! Fantastic photo of a very comely knife!
That super-cool Cadet should provide you with some relief from the heat, Lance!View attachment 927110 303 Cadet is spending the day with me. A nice light carry on this HOT summer day. They're saying that it may be the hottest Fathers Day on record, in our area. Hope all of the Dads out there are having a great Fathers Day!
Thanks for the additional info, Ken.Gary, I don’t mean to misrepresent the history of a knife pattern. To the best of my knowledge, there is no connection between the political party of the Civil War era and the knife pattern. I have been led to believe that the name copperhead stems from GIs carrying them in Vietnam clearing tunnels. I can find no history on this Case with the miniature Lincoln head penny mounted in cover.
...That is a good looking flock of lambs, Gary!![]()
Thanks, Dean & Jack.Nice Lambsfoot collection my friend
...
Thanks, GT! That smooth white bone makes a perfect canvas, me thinks. It's crazy to think this little booger is already 2! Time sure has flown by.
I love the patinated backsprings on your stockman! I don't know if any of my knives will ever get carried enough to develop such a deep, even patina.
Yeah, you're gonna have to give up the green Peanut before you know it, Shawn! Thanks GT! The Böker certainly is one of my favoeites. I can see why you like the carbon steel backspring on that UH, they contrast nicely with the brass linersNone of the liners on my knives are as dark as yours, I guess it has a lot to do with time or did you help them patina a bit?
Belated thanks, Ron.Thank you Gary! Happy Fathers Day my friend!![]()
Congrats on the magnificent Moki, Mike!
Your Otter sodbuster is very classy, @lambertiana !...

Sublime sowbelly still life, Gev!!
I've wondered about that yellow/orange tractor that's appeared in past pics, Jeff. Not orange enough for an old Allis Chalmers we had when I was a kid, but I wasn't sure it matched my (often faulty) memory of a Massey-Ferguson we'd sometimes borrow from my Mom's dad when things got busy. The "MF" in this pic suggests I was on the right track.... here’s a picture of an old tractor and working knives.

I hope to find its skin it leaves behind. I put them in my guest beds. Oh yeah, it’s a common Black Racer.

J., as I'm sure you're aware, that looks exactly like an Uncle Henry except for the tang stamps. Possibly a 2004 "end of days" knife, or a cutler's Frankenknife. Either way, a perfect EDC.
Ever seen a pig with antlers? Now you have: RR Stag Sowbelly![]()

Thanks, and some real nice carries you got there I've always liked the look of their jigged brown delrin though I wish they could use it with CV blades.Impressive Cattaraugus display, Harry!I admire your positive attitude and just making do with what you've got!

That super-cool Cadet should provide you with some relief from the heat, Lance!
Thanks for the additional info, Ken.I wasn't misled by your intriguing photo composition; the only connection I presumed between knife and political cartoon was the word "copperhead".
Thanks, Dean & Jack.
Yeah, you're gonna have to give up the green Peanut before you know it, Shawn!
Thanks for the nice comments on the Uncle Henry backspring patina, Shawn and Mark.I got that knife in a trade with @gonebad395 , who picked it up at a flea market I think, so I know nothing about the prior history of the knife. When it came to me, it already had the dark patina.
Belated thanks, Ron.
