That’s a nice Black Box Stuart! :thumbsup::cool::D

Top-shelf twosome, Dylan; I can see why you've grown fond of that stag lambsfoot!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

My apologies for the delayed response, GT. I do always appreciate your compliments.

That is a very nice looking Case! Smooth Red Bone?
I typically find Case's dye jobs too garish for my tastes but I do like the looks of this one.

Thanks a lot guys :)

Carrying this 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot in buffalo horn so far today :)

I need to get around to carrying my 2018 Horn as well. A beautiful knife, for sure, but I do think the 2018 Ebony stole the show.

Polished Stag and Buffalo Horn for me today! :D

What a particularly appealing pair, Ron. You've matched them beautifully and that horn is stunning!

That stag is looking better every time I see it. I do not have a lot of experience with stag and I've noticed that mine seems to be darkening a bit with carry and handling. I quite like it.

I love those Winchester Sowbellies, Stuart, you have a good one. I keep telling myself I need to scoop one up.
As an aside note, I know a good many folks here use tablets or phones to view and post in the forums here. The forum software resizes the pictures accordingly so I rarely bother to do so myself. I know it tends to make them look gigantic for some who use a PC but I haven't found it to be unpleasant personally.

Now that I have moved and am starting to get settled, I am finding that one of the perks of having my work office home based is that I can switch out knives any time I want to. The only drawback being that I seem to only put one knife in the pocket at a time rather than the typical two...

Ah well, first world problems.

Thanks for the kind comment and tech insight, Dylan'

It is bone, but not smooth. There is some very light jigging, similar to Shrade’s light jigging. The jigging is horizontal on the shield side, and vertical on the reverse. That inconsistency would likely bother some, but I think it works.

Nice! I still like it, I think it looks like sawcut bone, which seems a little different on a Stockman but not unattractive at all.

I usually use my iPad while viewing the forum. This morning I'm on my PC and your Sambar Lambsfoot looks incredible on my 23" monitor!:cool:

Half/Stop Half/Stop , r8shell r8shell , @TheChunk91 , and Peregrin Peregrin - nice knives today!!

Looking good Rachel :) I am swapping to a wee stag LF shortly myself, as I have an Appointment With Beer! ;)

r8shell r8shell , with that buttery bone and the stellar stag, you must be in Handle Heaven!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, Guys! Yes, GT, that bone is "like buttah!" :)

Thanks, I don't have much experience with stag, either. The only stag handles I've carried much would be the 2014 Forum knife, and it has mellowed. That is, the darkest areas have worn to be lighter, and the lightest areas have darkened. (with a hint of green from the brass liners and pins) I look forward to seeing how my Li'l Sambar ages.

That Case makes me cry for joy, Dean.

Thanks, Stuart! It's becoming my favorite one.

Very nice Winchester Sowbelly, Stuart. The bone is incredible!:thumbsup:

Bad connection so I cant download a picture. We came up north to celebrate the midsummers eve at the childhood home of a friend. Many years ago, must be almost 30, I had given her father a Roselli hunter knife. They lived on a farm in the middle of the forest. This man is now dead, but I found this knife hanging on the wall. It had a new sheath, better than the original. The knife looked very used.

I met this man on several occasions. A very jovial guy, allways friendly. His wife still lives in the house. A hardworking couple who raised 3 children. He lost when young one eye and several fingers when came across a wartime mine. Still he was very handy with both chainsaw and rifle. First gave the family money, the second meat, moose and birds.

Somehow seeing the knife moved me. This kind of men are rare these days. I'm happy I knew him.

Thanks Dylan! It’s actually sort of uncanny how similar these two match looking from the mark and pile sides. That is a beautiful 78 my friend! :)
