Stuart, you know how to bring the heat, my friend! :)

That's dazzling, pardner,:thumbsup::thumbsup: but leaves me with a dilemma. I'd have said the frame is equal-ended, but I don't recall ever seeing 2 different bolster styles on an otherwise quite symmetric knife. Very intriguing; still something new for me on The Porch almost every day! ;):cool:

Glad to have you for an ally, Stuart. :)

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is this modified Blade Forums knife (thanks, Mark):

Thanks for the kudos, GT. I took my pattern classification from B. Levine's 1985 Guide: if the knife is over 4" and does not have symmetrical bolsters, it is an English Jack. I do like that modded BF knife - nice choice.

Stuart, you know how to bring the heat, my friend! :)

Thanks, Ratbert, but they were what first came to hand this morning (and I really wanted to carry them so that I could show them off this afternoon with my buddies at the local establishment).

Last day of the Pena parade with another flawless example in mammoth. Got 1/3" of rain last night, need more.

Family portrait, screws have no place on any of my traditionals. Blue single blade lockback deserves some more love before it heads back to the safe. Carpe diem!
