What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

These two!

Might change later today. Second game of the season... hopefully a better ending than last week.

That second round of horn lambsfoot knives turned out almost as nice as the first, I think!! I'm glad they have a bolster slightly different than the first round.:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks GT :) Yeah, me too, the horn was supposed to be quite different

Thanks, Jack. :) Not for the first time, I made an unwarranted assumption about "the nature of reality" regarding your anchor knife. At least I remembered correctly that you had a wood knife with inlaid anchor!

Hey, I'm not complaining about having my memory jogged my friend, every little helps these days! ;) :D

My Free Choice Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider stag medium stockman:

Rough Rider did a nice job of that one :)

Those two look good together Taylor, looks like you've been enjoying using them too :)

Speaking of "blank canvas", Shawn, are you one of the folks who've had some success dying Case amber bone?
The demo knife is indeed hard to notice among the many knives I carry, but it's certainly not because of being super slim (were you kidding me?). It has 2 covers, 2 springs and 3 spacers (but not full-height liners), so 7 stainless steel layers across the spine of the knife - it's a stainless brick!

- GT

GT, I did not realize how many layers the Demo Knife had! I was a bit under the impression that they were svelte!

I have had positive results both staining and dying Case's Amber Bone. I'll have to grab a decent picture of the pair of them together this weekend. While I wish Case was a bit more consistent with their dying process, I really do enjoy how well their Amber Bone responds to dyes.

I started to put together a multi quote post, but there are just too many great knives here today (I don’t know how GT keeps up with it  :) ). Thank you all for sharing!

Mine today, a new “saw scout” by Camillus. Happy Friday :)

I bet he has a system! ;) :D  Two lookers Tom, congratulations on the new Camillus

We need to see that saw in action!!!

Since I rekindled an interest in pocket knives several years ago, I've purchased many nice new knives. But a knife like your Camillus, Jer, is really why I'm here and what I really wish I could find!:cool::thumbsup:

Thank you. I don't remember where I got that one. I remember taking a lot of bad pictures of it and deleting them all.

I'm still trying to stop buying crap knives that used to be good knives in their day.
I'm still trying to pass on knives that are like several I already have.
It's pretty rare that one like this or Stretch Schrade jumps up and says "take me home, you lucky so-and-so! I'm too cheap to even stop and think about."
