I like that! I think I'll join you in Fake Stag Friday.Fake stag Friday.
Thanks for the kind words. I look forward to stripping the edge a bit and maybe adding a sharpening choil this weekend, and putting the knife through it’s paces at work for a bit. That second round of horn lambsfoot knives turned out almost as nice as the first, I think!! I'm glad they have a bolster slightly different than the first round.
Jack, Steve, Dean, & Dylan, thanks for the compliments on the knives I posted. The Winchester canoe is one I bought "on clearance" back around Christmas (along with a yellow synthetic Winchester canoe). It's inexpensive, but I think the fake stag covers look quite good. Dean, I'm glad your recuperation is going well.
Dylan, that's another phenomenal pair of ebonies!!
Thanks, Jack. Not for the first time, I made an unwarranted assumption about "the nature of reality" regarding your anchor knife.
At least I remembered correctly that you had a wood knife with inlaid anchor!
Heavy duty and desirable Queen, Will!
Awesome gunstock checkered bone, Dave! One of my favorite covers from RR. I used to have a copperhead just like yours, but included it as a prize in a GAW I ran.
Since I rekindled an interest in pocket knives several years ago, I've purchased many nice new knives. But a knife like your Camillus, Jer, is really why I'm here and what I really wish I could find!
Looks like a big, beautiful jack, Stuart!
Both modified TL-29 and salsa look incredible, Jeff! Are you taking pre-orders on either??
Beautiful Black Box Winchester, Tom!I have one just like it that I ought to carry and use more often.
Commendable couple of knives, Dean!
That Craftsman creates cravings, Steve!!Is it unused?
And another astonished reaction from me!
That is a delectable example, Ace!!Stellar stag, and I REALLY like Case's quad-lined bolsters!
Handsome knife, Glenn!!
Thanks, Tom.
You're welcome; I'll gladly get another Taramundi if I get the chance.
That Buck 501 looks slender and elegant, but it's still a lotta lockback!!
Thanks, Stuart.
You detected my pattern!!
Terrific trio, Jeff! You happen to have my 3 favorite blade shapes there.
(For me, the order would be spear, drop point, and lambsfoot.)

Dean, thanks for the pic, I was just about to order one. What are your thoughts on it?
¡Y tú también!
Okey dokey then sounds good thanks DeanDave, I am favorably impressed with the build quality (fit and finish) and the feel of the bonestag in hand. The bonestag is thicker than regular jigged bone covers. The blades were sharp when I got them and only took a little touch up to get them scary. The blades are centered and have an open and close of about 5 on a 1 - 10 scale. I could easily make this knife my EDC and be happy.
Good show!![]()
Putting down the Ancient Barlow long enough to give this one a little pocket time...
Thanks! Those are some handsome elders, Jeff.
