What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one hasn’t seen daylight in a long time. Left it in a box of random stuff which was left untouched since I moved from my old place around 8 years ago. It’s been so long it feels like a new knife to me. Well actually it’s still in like new condition, I’ve only carried it a handful of times.

Crazy busy day today, so I haven't even read through this thread, let alone try to compose a post expressing my admiration for what you all are toting. I'll just post some of my knives for this week, and hope I can spend a little more time here tomorrow. :)

I got this Taylor’s Eye Witness at a good price because the plastic handle was broken.
My first lambsfoot, so I’ll tote and use it a bit to see what the fuss is all about.;)View attachment 975236This evening, I’m flying to Colorado for a few days with my grandson, so I’m already planning which knives to take along.

You did a great job with that Jeff, hope you have a fantastic time in Colorado :) Be sure to take some pics for your fellow Guardians my friend :) :D

So, I saw a friend of mine last night, who is a knife guy, but carries modern, one hand folders. He usually has me sharpen them, and I must admit, I lust after his Spyderco Para II in S30V with black G10 scales. Well, last night he tells me another friend lost it in the woods, so he's going to go out and buy something cheap to carry, because he feels naked without a knife. After a brief conversation, I hand him this and convince him to try it out:

So, Rafael is carrying that traditional today, and may become a convert. I'm carrying this:

How's that managed to remain out of sight for so long???;)
I'm no CASE expert but I think that's an Eisenhower? Elusive here in Europe, extremely attractive. Carry it more! :D

Thanks Will! I left a couple boxes of random boxes unopened because I just had no room in my apartment. I bought that knife and wasn’t too into it because i thought it was too small and preferred single blades back then. I guess my taste in knives changed since and am glad I found it after these years. It’s still in pristine condition, thanks to stainless blades. I’m pretty confident it’s the Eisenhower model and yes, will be carrying it more.

Like Half/Stop Half/Stop , I'm running late on this Wooden Wednesday. I've been out in the north-east corner of our backyard which I allowed to become overrun with tall weeds and vines because a doe and her fawn were living there (the fawn may have been born there). They've moved on and I am clearing the poke weed, joe pye weed, trumpet vine, morning glory, and Virginia creeper. Had to quit just a bit ago, as it got to 95 F and humid. With a machete and gas powered brush cutter, I had this Kutmaster pruner for the vines. Slim and light, it was in its element, until I couldn't stand the heat.

Our 3-day weekend here has left me running around like crazy! I have another long day tomorrow, with far too many things I need to do. Think I'll need all the Lambfootery I can get! :D Two new ones, already slipped in my pockets tonight, I haven't had a chance to even CF them yet! :D
