beautiful old Catt. I'm ready for cooler weather, too!

My Wooden Wednesday pair:

2008 CSC medium stockman, one of my top favorite forum knives. There were a lot of problems with these, burnt tips, cracks in the burnt stag where the pins for the scales were, weak backsprings these were just some of the issues.

Still this one is in my top 5 forum knives to date and as a result gets quite a bit of pocket time.

The wood looks extraordinary  I only have the dual blades 78"s sure would like a single.
Thank you! Ironwood is one of my favorite cover materials. I prefer the singles too. Easier to fish out of my watch pocket, and I find the pen on these to be a bit obtrusive. Plus, I just generally prefer the pen behind the main.

Our 3-day weekend here has left me running around like crazy! I have another long day tomorrow, with far too many things I need to do. Think I'll need all the Lambfootery I can get! :D Two new ones, already slipped in my pockets tonight, I haven't had a chance to even CF them yet! :D

Jack you keep posting those lambsfeet in stag and I’m going to have order one! Stunning!

Chik’n eye’n and coon finger’n this new smoke jumper from @skblades .... it’s a light weight beast. Very well done, ordered it outta curiosity as I thought it’d be a good truck knife.... it’s a good knife period.
Of course my usual has been with me all day.

Stellar duo! Could you explain to me the Smokejumper is it a modded Buck or Buck SFO or what? I've been seeing it recently but i have never seen it in store on racks with the other Buck knives. It Look awesome! Also, lovely stockman.

It’s a Buck SFO sold by contributing dealer @skblades (who also handled the forum knife this year). It’s cpm154 blade steel and nylon handles. Super light weight...

I’m so jealous, I have a few cords of recently fallen dead wood the storms have dropped over the last 2 years. I need to fire up the saw before winter and get it cut and stacked.

I love cutting firewood! Got a new Echo last year and it’s a great saw. But splitting? Ugh...that’s a chore unless you rent a hydraulic splitter.
