Hot and humid, but had to bake or we’d be out of bread.
The color and jigging of the bone on your knife make it look just like a delicious mini loaf of bread!!

Sorry. I'm sure it gives some of my students nightmares too. ...
Lol. I think everybody just loves math. Right?
Math nightmares??

I tell my students math helps them make their dreams come true!

Thank you, Jack. Funny thing: When I took that pic I thought, "this looks like a photo Jack would take."

...
An excellent carry of Cases, Gary!
...
Thanks for the Case compliment, Dean.

Somewhat scary that our minds share some thoughts, since my first glimpse of your photo made me think it would fit right in with Jack's ever-popular Watery Backgrounds series.

Two knives today, my avatar TC and a Case teardrop.
Great photos of admirable knives, Dean.

Welcome to The Porch,
@jodapop , and congrats on the boffo gunstock!

What's the latticework the knife is on?
Was just going through old pictures last night and come across this Northfield 73 in Stag so I decided to carry it today in a slip , as always , for old times sake . ...

...
Harry
What a captivating knife, Harry!

IMHO, those stag 73s from summer of 2015 are classics!
Love the color on that copperlock! Very handsom knife.

...
I’ve got this guy today.
Thanks for noticing the Case mini copperlock; the walnut Rogers jigged bone is one of Case's best, I think.

I also think the pattern you posted is one of the best traditional folder patterns, and yours has dynamite covers!

2 for Tuesday
Edit: I remembered seeing someone else pose their knives very recently like this, I liked it so I copied them lol. It was
@Old Engineer with those amazing bulldog barlows....
Excellent! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Thanks, Jack; we returned from our lakeshore idyll on the Ides of August.

You're fairly flush with fetching lambsfoots lately!!

...
My first lambsfoot, so I’ll tote and use it a bit to see what the fuss is all about.
View attachment 975236This evening, I’m flying to Colorado for a few days with my grandson, so I’m already planning which knives to take along.
Grand rehab of the TEW, Jeff!

I hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Camillus Sword today, couldn't decide on what picture I liked best so I'll post all three
...
Handsome Sword Brand, Steve, and I favor this type of shot, from slightly below the level of the knife forming an arc de triomphe!

I thought an acorn would be a harbinger of fall, but all it did was bring another dose of hot, steamy summer.
View attachment 975264
Impeccable photo, Alan, and maybe such a cool knife can help you beat the heat.
(Math joke: What did the acorn say when it grew up? Readers may supply the punch line.)
Jolly good knife, but there's just so much of it!!

Hot and humid today! Keep hydrated folks!
Easier for us to stay hydrated if you weren't making us drool with killer pics, Gary!

Case bonestag medium stockman (032) for today.
Kudos on the laudable pic, Ken!!

Multi-blade, multi-beauty and multi-carry!

All good, Gary!
Multi-thanks, Dean.
Wooden Wednesday...
Magnificent!

Carrying this old Catt today enjoying the cooler weather here in the heartland!
Fall is coming!
I'm more of a dog guy, but I'd be willing to make that noteworthy Catt a pet, Mark!

For Wednesday.
Another opulent Wooden Wednesday for Whetstone!

...
Not so struck on autumn, our terrible winter is on the back of that!

I praise your pragmatic position, Will!

I’m running a little later than usual today! I’ve got two with me.
You have some quality wood, Ron, including a couple of Osage Orange examples (this one and a stockman, IIRC) that definitely qualify!

Like
Half/Stop
, I'm running late on this Wooden Wednesday. I've been out in the north-east corner of our backyard which I allowed to become overrun with tall weeds and vines because a doe and her fawn were living there (the fawn may have been born there). They've moved on and I am clearing the poke weed, joe pye weed, trumpet vine, morning glory, and Virginia creeper. Had to quit just a bit ago, as it got to 95 F and humid. With a machete and gas powered brush cutter, I had this Kutmaster pruner for the vines. Slim and light, it was in its element, until I couldn't stand the heat.

Really radical height-to-thickness ratio on your Kutmaster Pruner, Stuart!

My Wooden Wednesday pair:

Salubrious study in contrasts with that wood pair, Rachel!

The wood looks extraordinary

I only have the dual blades 78"s sure would like a single.
Dave, with the dual blades you already have the top of the line model!

There you go again, John, posting that useful knife again as a temptation to the weak-willed among us (me).

Fortunately, the dealer with whom I'm preparing a knife order for this holiday weekend has no Carhartt Cases in stock!!
Big Knife of the Week for me is Rough Rider's version of the large sodbuster:
Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Simmons Keen Kutter (thanks, Mark):
Peanut-like Knife of the Week is a Taylor-Schrade 18OT:
