What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one again. I usually don't post the same knife when I carry it a few days. But have a story yall will find humorous. I walked around half the night at work with the tip of my middle finger hurting from two mysterious nicks to it that I just couldnt figure out how they happened. About 3 am, it dawned on me. This knifes blades sit a touch high. Not outside the well at the tip, but close. Guess I was worry stoning it in my pocket and got my skin a little too far down the blade well at the tips!

Thanks, Jack!
And I never tire of seeing that pair!

Wow that’s nice!

A Case jack and a gentlmanly Camillus 41 penknife for my off-to-church selection.
Afterward, I’m going to need a tl-29 or SAK because Mrs Fleschwund is expecting a new piece of furniture to be assembled. Has to be done before people come over on Thursday:rolleyes:.

Re; a new piece of furniture, the salesman charged us another $50 for delivery costs. I said the delivery men will have a narrow door to bring the sofa through. He says not to worry, they unwrap the piece in the truck, which narrows it down.

Delivery was set for 10:00 AM we anxiously waited until 4 PM the men came to the door with it totally wrapped in its shipping cocoon
After I took the door off they squeezed through the door scraping the wall etc. The fellow says please sign here, and they started heading out the door, my wife following are you going to unwrap and set it up? He says oh no we don't do that.o_O
But the salesman said you would, my wife says. He's wrong the driver says, we would never get everything delivered if we stopped to unwrap and assemble. Long story short, plastic wrap cardboard more plastic wrap more cardboard 1x1 boards and staples and more staples. Then a trip to the recycle depot for all the plastic and cardboard. :D

Gots new knife. So that one is in my pocket, of course.

I've been eyeballing that knife too. Must have one.

That is a jewel in perfect condition.

These today, some may look at that Klien, and think "Wonder why he didn't choose that neat old Queen?" .Well yesterday evening I handed it to my boss to look at while on the way to do an estimate on another job. Later once I was home and emptied my pockets I thought "Oh no! Where's the Queen!?" Then I remembered having handed it to her earlier so I knew at least its probably not lost. Then later today she stops to check in on a job side job we took on, I asked if she had it. Well she did, but here's the catch, that's when I learned "Oh, I only wanted you to see if you could clean it up for me, I don't have one like that" Part of me was bummed to have "lost" it so quickly, but another bigger part is happy she likes it and enjoys it:) It was meant to be, I had mentioned it had a weaker pull than I'd like, but she can pinch it open. Some knives she has trouble with. I'll have to see if I can borrow the case stockman I cleaned up for her for some pics to share here;)
I can feel your pain, but at least someone is appreciating the knife and your efforts.

Remember, the salesman will tell you ANYTHING you want to hear. Then leave the driver to be the bad guy.
