Hi!

That jigged brazilian cherrywood. I like the feeling of the jigged wood handles very much. It´s a little rougher than jigged bone, but I´m sure during using it will get smoother. :)

Kind regards
Andi

Place your new one in the leaves with the sleeveboard, add your Case pen knife and your son's peanut, and you'll have a lil' ol' banana tree effect going on. :-)

Thanx Pertinux, my board was a wedding present from a dear freind back home...I miss those purple mountains of NH...
the canoe is really growing on me :) the bone always looks warmer in person than the pics tho...

This is a Buhl and Sons circa 1930's pocket knife that I happen to be carrying today. Buhl in Sons was a big hardware store near the riverfront in downtown Detroit. Its long since shuttered its doors and I don't even believe the building is standing anymore. I've owned this knife for about 5 or 6 years now and is one of my favorites.

That Barlow looks really great, Robert! The bone handles and blades are worn out, which makes that knife absolutelly great looking :)

Kind regards
Andi

Its actually a delrin but it looks just like saw cut bone, and the best thing is this had the factory edge on it so the blades are full...looked like someone had just left it in a tool box after dulling it and it rusted. Thanks for your comments!

SwissBianco Micro-Farmer. I haven't given this one much pocket time, but seeing how I'm a mechanic, I should probably always have it on me.

There is also the Monadnock Mtn Range! From my grandfathers porch we could look off into the distance and the horizon was one ridge after another of peaks...oftentimes the color of which was dark blue to purple ;)
