What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Place your new one in the leaves with the sleeveboard, add your Case pen knife and your son's peanut, and you'll have a lil' ol' banana tree effect going on. :-)

Thanks P, you may have just given me the inspiration for my next photo!

This is a Buhl and Sons circa 1930's pocket knife that I happen to be carrying today. Buhl in Sons was a big hardware store near the riverfront in downtown Detroit. Its long since shuttered its doors and I don't even believe the building is standing anymore. I've owned this knife for about 5 or 6 years now and is one of my favorites.

Welcome. Great knife for a first post.

Gorgeous shot of that chestnut SBJ!

Early this morning while I was working at home and wearing cargo shorts I had the slimline trapper in my pocket.

Later when at the office, out for meetings, and running errands in preparation for being out of town for a week, I had the peanut and mini copperhead with me.

Sadly, I'll be flying without checked baggage so will be without a pocket knife for the next several days. Crazy mixed up world we live in these days!

Importer of Zippo lighters(and Case knives)still doesn't know about CV(nothing strange)so i'm doomed to stainless(and limited patterns). ;)

I just cleaned and put this one away after not doing so last night before bed.

Thanks I try :)

IMHO it shows :)

I have been doing lots of work around the house with a hatchet and I came across a piece of Oak Burl so I chopped it off and carved the bark off. Not sure what to do with it, but I am carrying my 57 and trying to give it a fair go.

So far, so good. It has feather light pulls all around, and I mean feather light, but I am going to see how it goes.

:)
