It sure does look like a handy-dandy knife ED.We went up to Klamath Falls, OR today and did some shopping. Rainy and stormy with some snow between here and there so I carried this Case 6217 Curved Jack with me. Heck, ya never know - I might have had to chop a tree to clear the road.

I hope you guys and gals didn't fall for the tree across the road thingy but in bad weather and traveling some of the roads we have here it does pay to carry a heavy duty style knife in your pocket - maybe have to cut a shoelace loose from a twig or something like that.
Other than the wood Gary, how do you like it? I find it very lite weight and an interesting spring set up keeping it open. I like it,Very cool Spanish knife, Dave!I have the same model, but I think your wood is better!
I'm totin' a throwback this Thursday, a 30 year old Parker Frost "Bison" (by Schrade in 1978):

The lighting outside was tricky today and the spots of the back of the knife near the bolsters in the pic just above that look like faded bone/dye are actually glare and reflections of an adjacent cherry log. Optical illusions (delusions)? I had to go back and look at the knife again after seeing the picture.

Stuart, my heart skipped a little beat when I saw that. I have a feeling these Parker Frosts could be an addiction. I have it’s sibling, also 0097, in green... My quest for a brown bone is now on!!
Your lambsfoot and your Plow are aristocratically agrarian, Farmer Jack!!

Your balance problem might be because that peerless Peanut has you walking on air!!View attachment 1028736
I've been carrying a Buck 110 a lot lately - going back down to this is quite a change! I have been stumbling to the right frequently, apparently I've gotten used to the extra weight in my left front pocket. My sense of balance is all off!
Thanks, Tom.Thanks GT, I really like that Imperial mini canoe

5K Qs
Thanks Gary, gotta say though the Queen was a gift so that makes it free,(but priceless), and the old Remington I only got about six and a half bucks into. So they wouldn't have to work hard to cover the money lol. However both work well above their paygrade.![]()
For a second there, I thought this was the beverage & blades thread!
Will you please tell us more about that knife?Yann Nominé View attachment 1028816
I appreciate your kind remarks, Dwight....

I’ve got a different Case today.
Thanks, Joshua; alliteration may be the result of lack of imagination in choosing first letters! Thanks GT! Your alliteration proliferation deserves excalamation!
For me, function is significantly more important than "cosmetic perfection"!You are very kind, Gary!
I'm my own worst critic. Each one I tear down and rebuild is a learning experience. And I have yet to do one that I view as perfect.
Functional with good snap, yes, but cosmetic perfection is frustratingly elusive. Keeps me off the streets and out of trouble though!![]()
Thanks, Ace; pretty much came to me that way.Nice patina!
Very cool, but too big for my tastesNice Knife!
What do you think about this?
