What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My two totes for Wednesday are wearing wood; a Buck 110 5160 and a pre WWII Robeson TL-29. :)
Thank you kindly, JJ. A beautiful pair. the condition that you maintain them in, adds to their beauty.

Jack Black Jack Black - The Tackler is gorgeous, Jack. Enjoy Lancashire Day. The same best wishes to @donn and to all those that celebrate. And here’s to a safe and happy Holiday weekend.

Great pic of that cracking Barlow Gev :)

My wife and I and all three grandkids are on antibiotics. That's the real reason for all this holiday stuff, just to help us think about something other then being sick and the long winter ahead!;)

Very true, Buzz. Found this on the web, some of it is spot on!

Upstate NY
1. Your idea of a traffic jam is 10 cars waiting to pass a tractor
3. You measure distance in hours
4. You know several people who have hit deer more than once
6. You stay in your house most of the summer because you aren't used to the heat
7. You drive at 55 mph through 10 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching
11. You carry jumper cables in your car and your girlfriend knows how to use them
14. Driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled in with snow
16. You know 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, cold, construction
There's a bunch more!
Well we're getting ready for Thanksgiving Day here at Peregrin's Roost. Sausage dressing and eggs for breakfast. Sorry no pic, I ate it that fast!
Along for the day and tomorrow and a bunch after that, on a colorful Thanksgiving themed placemat.

Hey JOELSM, is that the AG Russell moose? Pondered on that knife for a while. Never did pull the trigger. It is a good lookin, nice size knife.

Hey Eversharp - That knife is the AG Russell Reverse Congress Muskrat. It’s a fine example – the black lip pearl is quite nice considering the price point. I just checked their webpage and unfortunately this one appears to no longer be offered.

Woof Woof
Love that knife, David.
And Kelly's Heroes is one of my favourite films. Saw it when it came out, about 1970, when theatres still had curtains, and only one screen.
"That's a mother-BEAUTIFUL knife!" [paraphrase]

That's right. The Reverse Congress Muskrat. Could not remember the name, but I remember the knife. Enjoy. Have a good Thanksgiving.
