Hope you have a good day Jack! It’s good to see your Drover! :thumbsup: :)

On this wet Wednesday, I'm indoors (mostly) and only totin' wee wood.

And building a fire for Miss Norma.

That’s a fine pair and a fine fire Stuart! :thumbsup: Glad you and Miss Norma are warm and dry! :D

Our rain totals are approaching the 5” mark since yesterday. I’m setting here this morning enjoying a cup of coffee and these two I’ve picked for today. I’ve got a 2019 Guardians Ironwood Lambsfoot SFO from Jack Black and a Northwoods Hawthorne Clip Blade in Orange Giraffe Bone. :)

Totin' the Queen Serpentine Single Blade Jack again.
I did discover that the blade is stainless after cutting several apples with no patina.
I'm not sure what type of stainless steel it is, but it's holding an edge like a champ.
This is going to be a regular carry for work, it just suits that environment perfectly. :cool::thumbsup:

Thank you, it wasn't an easy choice. I thought to sell it because of the stag but then realized I would likely never get the opportunity to own one like it again.

I hope you realize the wisdom you've gained!! Took me a looooooong, LONG time before I reached that level of awareness, let me tell you. I have sold several knives in my life that if given the opportunity, I'd definitely have them back! Hold on to that knife, brother because it's definitely a beautiful one.

Nice pairing Jeff :thumbsup:
Thanks, Jack!
I like how you are faithfully sticking with your HH Barlow, and pairing it up with others.

It was a beautiful day in southern Norway yesterday. For a while it really did look like winter.

I just had to take out my 'wellbeing hour' from work and take a dip in a lake just outside the town.

Practising my poor tracking skills on the fresh snow revealed that pure luck saved me from being caught 'in the act'. (Needless to say that when you act on impulse, you don't have a towel or swimming shorts on you.) Two sets of human tacks were following my footsteps only to turn away shortly before reaching 'my bay'.

Two for yesterday: one for trouble shooting and one for the joy of it.

Great photos! Skinny dipping in ice cold water is best done quickly, I’d guess...

I pack this Bose 1306 everyday and use it for everything. I had this scrimshaw done to dress up the stag. Sounds like a strange thing to do on such a knife but I think it’s improvement. The stag was plain and didn’t match in color, character, or thickness. This knife may not of looked like I had expected it to when I received it but it is definitely the finest functioning knife I own.

I do not need a piece of elk antler to be the gnarliest, and most knobbly piece possible to enjoy. I have a stockman which I rehandled in elk that I polished smooth like bone, and it’s beautiful to the eye and in my hand.
I like the transition from bark to smooth on the ends, too.
I wish you’d have included a full shot of the knife!

Really nice photo, Ron!
Love the Hawthorne clip~ I don’t remember seeing that one.

This is an older picture. I finally got around to putting a sharp point on the Case Barlow this week. Had to drop the spine just a hair, so it's less upswept and much pointier. :):thumbsup:

Nice work, Rachel. It looks great. :cool::thumbsup:

A Wright Lambfoot in walnut, and Craftsman Whittler ought to cover my needs today.View attachment 1278662
Great pairing, Jeff. :cool::thumbsup:

My Krein B&T on my belt, a nice breakfast in my belly and headed out to push snow around.

Beautiful knife. :cool::thumbsup:
I'm getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger on a nice B&T. Your picture doesn't make it any easier to resist. ;)

B&T makes a great EDC, John!
:D
You didn't tell us it was your turn to cook, Gary. Had I known, I wouldn't have spoiled my appetite with cold cereal this morning :p That Krein B&T looks just as tasty as your breakfast!
Thanks, Mike! Anytime you are in my neck of the woods you're welcome to stop by! :)

Thanks Jeff! I’ve had the Hawthorne for several years. I traded a Blue Camel Bone Fremont for it. It’s a knife I really like a lot, but it definitely doesn’t get enough pocket time. Come to think of it, I’ve got way too many knives that fall into that category. ;)
