My favorite style of Queens, the Amber Carved Stag Bone covers. This one is a #63 Railsplitter stockman, I really like this knife. The top of the coping blade is quite sharp, but otherwise its very satisfying to use. Great, substantial feeling in the hand.

Looking good Jack!Morning folks, I actually remembered what day it was when I got up this morning, so opening a random knife box, I randomly picked this small IXL Serpentine Jack to accompany my Hartshead Barlow, and a FB from Brusletto of Norway![]()

that 48 cranberry has some of the nicest slabs they’ve used . Definitely my favorite for that patternGood morning all!I've got three again today. They consist of a Tidioute #48 Dog Leg Jack with Cranberry Jig Bone, a Queen City #41 Copperhead with Rosewood. My random carry choice is a Lambsfoot with Rosewood handles. Not exactly a common frame / blade combination, these knives were made for a dealer (who shall remain unnamed) by A. Wright & Son. Y'all stay safe and well out there!

Thanks a lot! I totally agree with you. The jigging is very well done and the color is deep and rich.that 48 cranberry has some of the nicest slabs they’ve used . Definitely my favorite for that pattern
Our barracks were at one of the U.S.Army Forts that were accessed from the Off Ramp on the North End of the Golden Gate Bridge and then through a small tunnel to the North and back in a valley . There were a couple of forts back in that valley that ended at a small beach and our specific barracks were at Fort Cronkite . Just looking at a map now , I would judge that our Radar Site would have been very close to what they now call Golden Gate Vista Point . We had 24 hours on the hill and 24 hours off the hill duty . I was actually transferred out of there before you were born .Harry, did you live in the barracks up on Mt Tam or did you commute up the hill from Hamilton AFB? Beautiful views from up there though it can get awfully foggy and windy at times.

That looks like a wonderful little knife, Jack.![]()
Dug pretty deep into the knife storage to mix it up a bit today. This knife for some reason was in a dream last night. Nothing special in the dream, I only remember that I had it on me, and was thinking about it when I woke up this morning. Figured I'd find it and carry it todayMichael Morris friction folder.

I put this T-shirt on this morning. Now I've got a hankering for a basket full of fried oysters and French fries. Oh well, someday soon I hope!
