What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Good morning all! I've got three again today. They consist of a Tidioute #48 Dog Leg Jack with Cranberry Jig Bone, a Queen City #41 Copperhead with Rosewood. My random carry choice is a Lambsfoot with Rosewood handles. Not exactly a common frame / blade combination, these knives were made for a dealer (who shall remain unnamed) by A. Wright & Son. Y'all stay safe and well out there! :)

That Queen #41 is very nice with that shield. Don't ever see that #48 Cranberry much. Great group for this Tuesday.

Happy Coosday again everybody : This picture reminds me of when we were driving between Onich & Falkirk , Scotland in 2010 , a big Bull very suddenly charged over a little hill very close to the highway .

Carrying these two together again today because I can and I probably will be inside all day . They just remind me that Very Nice Things sometimes come in Little Cardboard Boxes as if by Magic .

I put this T-shirt on this morning. Now I've got a hankering for a basket full of fried oysters and French fries. Oh well, someday soon I hope!

Thanks Jack! That’s a great old advertising pen knife! :)

Thanks Tim! They only made 27 of the #48s so there’s not many around. :)

Nice QC Copperhead, that patina looks real nice with the ironwood. I always liked the long sweeping clip on a Queen.

Oof. I chased one of those S&M humpback lockers for a while.. sorta gave up, they're hard to land on ebay for a good price... Quite the looker, that's a great set of covers.

Nice knives, fellas. I keep seeing that ebony GEC with that single, glorious sheepsfoot blade all over the place.. I want it. Wonderful looking knife.

Thanks, Ron! Maybe we can get together and have fried oysters and fries someday! We could always get some poor frozen substitutes from the market and do a "Zoom meeting"!
That's how we visit with our grandkids now. A strange new world.

I've been trying to get all of my Cases posted on the Cases "old and new" thread and, incidentally, have been posting them here as I get time to tote and photo. I apologize to all y'all for the redundancy, but I only have so much time and I'm but one man. Breath easy, I'm about done.

A Case 64052 medium congress in jigged Appaloosa bone and a Case 6347HP large stockman in jigged green bone, both from 1978:

Note to self - oil blades AFTER picture.

Gorgeous knives, Stuart! The Congress is particularly attractive.:thumbsup:

I’ve actually got shrimp, salmon and flounder in the freezer. But no fries! It’s just not the same as fresh! I hear a lot about “Zoom”. It is indeed a strange new world! :)

Thank you! :)
