What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had these floating around with me at work today. Kinda a Queen sort of day. One was a gift from Charlie(Waynorth) awhile back.

Today I am carrying my John Deere Mini Trapper in memory of my grandfather, who was a machinist for John Deere in Moline.

I love this knife and I really like the way the jigging resembles an ear of corn.

In honor of "wooden Wednesday" this week I'm carrying the S&M Heritage jack again. I like this knife!

However, I might be heading to the field again and decided to carry these.

Nice wood on that Lambfoot Jack. Wish my horn version looked that good:mad:

Is that mushroom edible? Looks tasty enough:D:D

Today, Forum 08 knife in some fetching stag.

Thanks, Will

I felt like carrying something kinda quirky today, so I dropped this guy in my pocket.

This guy definitely has its flaws, but I really like this pattern overall. It's nice and slim, and the two pen blades serve me just fine. Now to find a higher quality one with some nice bone scales.

Thanks Will. It's a real shame about the horn. Looking at some other A.Wright's in horn and stag the other week in York, I'm not sure I'd go for them, particularly after your bad experience. Shameful that they send knives out like that, especially to overseas customers who can't easily return them.

None of the UK tree fungi are poisonous, though some are tough and not pleasant to eat. As this one was just six inches off the ground, and dogs get walked in the area, I think it was probably best avoided!
