What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

As some of you have seen today, this is fresh outa the tube. My first and at the moment, it’s all rainy and muggy up here so I’m hangin’ in-doors with it close by. This pic is from earlier in the day brightening up the present and I’ll tell ya’s, if you don’t have a 71….
GET ONE, or as many as you can!!
Wondering if the F&F also stands for Fit & Finish… it should!!

A great nite to all:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This old example was relegated to the bike toolkit but liberated it today for the wknd pocket. Enjoying using it a couple times, about as much heft as I need in a user
That knife is a stunner! The bone is aged to perfection. Think it started out white?
Thank you, Gary. :) I watched that Roy R. clip you posted this morning before I headed to work, a bit of nostalgia put me in a good mood to start the day.:thumbsup:

Different whittler in my pocket, along with some ebony for Black Friday. Osage is always one of my favorites and ebony with steel pins and liners is also something I'm fond of. The leather on my John DF made slip is taking on a nice patina with use.

Quite a nice pair, Greg!

A great nite to all:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I <only> have one Bullnose (And one Bullbuster), and the urge to buy another pops up sometimes, but the thrifty and practical side always reminds me I haven’t worn mine out yet. Besides~ I want to save up for the 2021 Forum Knife!
But yeah~ everyone should have one.
Great color match with yourr pie filling!

Thank you kindly JJ, splendid pair of vintage Robesons there my friend :cool: :) :thumbsup:
Thank you very much, Jack!!!
Off for a hike tomorrow, with my trusty Hartshead Barlow, and my Bradford Guardian 3 :) Have a great weekend everyone :thumbsup:

As soon a I saw the images of your trusted beauties, I knew you were heading out afoot; have a great day in the outdoors, tomorrow! 😁 :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Much needed rain came today so I will have to use some re-cycled photos . The Dark Brewed 83 in bright sun looks a little different .

Harry
Very nice Harry, glad you got rain today, we did also. Big storm woke me up this morning and realized I left the canoe on the beach and it wasn’t tied up. We were so dry our lake only came back up to normal pool. The canoe was high and dry.😉

Yes indeed Gary! a fun time by all was had… the strawberry red stockman didn’t help with the good ‘ole hockey game as Montreal lost, still great to have on hand as always though.
I’ve been searching lately for some scores and have had a few great ones to be sure. Patience is always a virtue isn’t it!!

Today’s easy carry doesn’t come out very often, a little more cherry pickin’ today… Winch’ Wendesday if you will.

A great one to all :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
I just purchased a 1987 model exactly like this, I fear I may have messed up by forcing patina with mustard, because now despite mineral oiling regularly, after my shift at the steel mill I work at, there’s usually a spot or two or rust 😔

That's an admirable, and probably quite achievable, goal! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
1977 would be 3 dots?

- GT
Yes, three dots. Should be a lot easier than if I was born one or two or three decades earlier. The hard part is deciding what I want.

One knife, the Charlie Lamb, for "Black Friday"
One knife, the Case/Bose Norfolk, for Rachel's @r8shell "Fancy Friday"
Nice pair, John. I think if I had those two in my pocket, I'd be afraid to leave the house.

We've got a fire on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land three-quarters of a mile from the house - 131 acres, forward progress stopped, 20% contained. Got the Expedition packed - go bags, water, snacks, papers, etc.. We're not leaving the house because if we do, we might not be able to get back in. All this said, I've added this Buck 112 to my belt.

It started with a lightning strike when a thunderstorm passed over us yesterday at about 3:45 PM.
I hope they get it put out and you guys stay safe, Ed.
