Lovely pair, Harry!
There’s a lot of beautiful character in both of those, Dyan.My choices today are the same as they were last week. A bit of Stag and a bit of Ebony.

Very inviting photo.

Hope you all have a great day.
I let some cilantro go to seed for next year.
While I impatiently wait for my tomatoes, I have been prowling the stores looking to increase my stash of canning jars and lids.I'm volunteering at a not-for-profit farm. My tomatoes are in a greenhouse.

Great pictures Sacto, that stream is so beautiful I’d fish it even if I knew there were no fish in it!
When you get a chance, check out the “Don’t Stop Believing” SAK.![]()
Have a great day, Jack.
Have a great day, Todd.
That stag Dixie stockman is a heck of a pocket knife, Taylor!Big ole hunk of stag on this stockman!![]()

Awesome pic. Makes me want one. Right up there with Gary’s photos…
I got my new (to me) Barlow. My first Barlow. I’m calling it “the poor mans 15”. Getting ready to harvest my first decent tomato of the season. View attachment 1597844
Some splendid vintage barlows, gents!Seeing yours made me want to pull a few of mine out. It’s hard to beat a good ol’ Barlow!

That pocket worn bone on the cigar Schrade is sublime, Steve!
Looks like a couple of choice knives at a delightful destination, Jeff!I’ll have to get caught up on all y’alls posts later. There’s no internet at my sister and bro in law’s place way up in the woods.
Two Schrades I’m fond of for Schradurday.View attachment 1597971

Congrats on your growing flock of lambs, JJ!
Belated birthday greetings, Greg; sounds like you had a good one!Pal cattle punch today. Spent a very relaxing day at my daughters baby-sitting our newest grandson so they could attend a wedding shower.
My daughter made us a wonderful dinner on their return to celebrate the baby turning 1 month old today and me turning 63 yrs. today.

Best wishes for coping with the insane temps.Well, it was 110 F outside a little while ago, but thankfully it's cooled all the way down to 106 now. Since I'm lounging around in sweats inside, drinking cider and watching explody movies with my wife, I switched it up from my usual GEC 97 to the toothpick today. Note: this cider was actually consumed indoors. Too hot to be outside long enough to drink anything - was just carrying while I let the dogs out (very briefly - it's too hot for dogs today, too).

A wunderful and peaceful Sunday to all![]()
Olympic trio, John; 3 medal winners on the victory stand!
Having that GEC 92 whose model number matches your wedding year is really cool, Todd!I have my Jack close at hand, I think you can see it in the background, but today I’ll be carrying a couple special knives when we head to “Top Golf” with the family to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Don’t know how I managed to get my wife to marry me but she did, and I’m very happy she did! The SAK for obvious reasons, and the “92” is the year we were married. This is a very special knife to me for that and other reasons, it’s a true “Safe Queen.” View attachment 1598343
Perfect Sunday-go-to-meeting knife!
Good to see another "Austin Animal Attack" photo, Rachel! It's hot, humid, and a little creepy outside today. I'm staying in with the AC cranked, sharpening knives and watching Shark Week.
Stay safe, everyone!

Sunny pair of Schrades and some cool old containers, Jeff!View attachment 1598512
Hanging out with friends and family on Lake Muskegon the day after the lakefront wedding at some friend’s lakehouse.
A pair of favorite Schrades today, 293Y, and 881Y.View attachment 1598513
Very cool that you still have your first knife! The usual 97 and my Sears (Schrade) Craftsman 95041 peanut today. This little Craftsman was my first knife, given to me at age six in 1977. It has great sentimental value, but I don't carry it very often. It would probably cut about 90% of everything I've ever cut with a pocket knife no problem, and it would have saved me a lot of money over the course of my life if I'd just stuck with this. But where would the fun be in that?

33 Middleman Jack ~ I bought this brand new somewhere around 45 years ago. Like me, it’s barely broken in.
And a 194 Serpentine Jack. View attachment 1599497Hope you all have a great day.

It’s about time to plant more beans, peas, and spinach.
