  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Went with both instead of either/or. It felt like the natural thing to do.

Impressive weekend trio you've chosen, Jack; your jigged bone WCLF is outstanding!:thumbsup:
...

Clever name for that dish! 😁🤪

Your WCLF is incapable of being in a bad photo! ;)
My mind has become a random memory generator, so it doesn't mean much that I don't recall seeing that handsome Remington jack before; is it new to you?
Many thanks Gary :) I know the feeling  The Remington Jack was a kind gift, and I've had it a while, but only carried it a few times :) I really like small Jacks like that, but it's a bit of a treasure :)
Thank you, Jack. :)
Hope you have a good week too.

Cheers buddy, winning combo there :)

Today ill pack one of my favorites, a copper and stag Buck 110 with flat grind S35VN.
In a USA made soft sheath horizontal carry.
Fantastic Buck 110 Makael.
Those clip/sheepsfoot blade combos, whether on same or opposite ends, look very practical and useful!:cool:
Indeed they are GT.

Navaja...predates the Okapi by just a bit;)
That's a whole other style of knives that I don't know much about. Very cool!
I'm with Mike, Rachel; that was a new word for me, too! o_O😁 I would have just called such a device a "2-frame flip book", probably.
I just like to show off, with my fancy words and such. :p

I think I'll carry a couple of old pearls today.

When I think of a ladies knife, this is what comes to mind. Great pair of old ladies knives.

Wait. I mean vintagey, antiquey ladies knives suitable for carry by a young lady 😁

Seriously, I wonder if Mrs Fleschwund would carry an elegant pearl pen knife. I’ve tried. I gave her a Vic Classic, which she wouldn’t carry because most of her pants don’t even have pockets!
So I braided up a little paracord fob and put it on her key ring. Too bulky:rolleyes:
As far as I know, it’s somewhere in the bin under the armrest in her Toyota. Underneath all the detritus and purse overflow “stuff”. Under the salad dressing packets swiped from Panera, probably.

The good side of that is I sometimes get to hear one of a husband’s favorite things to hear...”Honey, can I use your knife?”

High-class homecoming knives, Todd, and congrats on the new arrivals, whatever they are! 🤓:thumbsup:

Thanks Gary, the new arrivals are getting posted here and there. 😉👍
I guess getting outvoted is the price we pay for democracy! 😂
