What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I agree, Jack! The punch, the exposed rivets, heck even the bail (and I really don't like bails otherwise)! What I really don't understand though is why they went from a small clip point blade to a pen blade ...
Yeah, you're right Isk, I've had a couple of "Pradel"s with small Clip blades, and a few German SAK copies (Wusthof, Kaufman, etc), including this one, which I sent to WhittlinAway WhittlinAway , as he was trying to get hold of a knife with a small clip for whittling.

I also have this older French knife, which has a small Clip

I still find the Pen more useful than a nail-file! :D

Very nice, especially the French one with horn scales! The small clip point blade was originally intended as a scraping blade with which officers in the Swiss Army could erase their writting mistakes. That's why the old Victorinox ones have more of a belly to them. The Wengers are pointier, like the one on the yellow German knife you posted. I find it interesting because it's a different approach to the issue than with American office knives, which originally had a sort of spey, corn or grafting type of blade for this purpose although those too were later mostly replaced by pen blades.

You know I used to fancy the 85 mm Wengers having a nail file but now I just feel naked with a knife that doesn't have at least one big and one small blade ... 😅

Rest of today and Monday when I go visit my way pretty and hot she doc.
In Sporran:
2018 Buck 301 Forum Knife
GEC/Northfield UN-X-LD Stag 852211 Harness Jack.
In strong side kilt hose (sock) Mora Number 1 as my Sgian Dubh.
(I cut the loop off the sheath, since it'll be more comfy in my sock without it, and I have an after market leather sheath for it, if I ever put it on my belt.)

Yes. I'll be wearing my kilt when I go see the doc.
Sorry, no picture of that since I don't wanna cause any younglings nightmares or ruin anyone's appite. :)
I'm not sure if I'll get a ROFLOL or a "Oh gods ... I think I'm gonna (((gag))) be sick!" when she (and her staff) sees me inna kilt.
