If I wouldn't have seen his dogs in pics and videos previously I would have thought by the first dog pic above that he keeps bear rugs in his shop. Beautiful dogs Nic!

Nice old-timey pics Nick! Now all you need is shirt sleeves and a vest! Then your Victorian workshop look will be complete!

Interesting pictures

Who took them ?

Is that flat cap your version of the 10 gallon cowboy hat ?

There's so much light in the ceiling strip and the white wall, your face is averaged out dark.

Re-framing the fluorescent tube out would help.

Some over exposure maybe 2 or more stops should make the wall white and get your face recognizable.
Maybe even a reflector card to put some light on your face.

I like how the viewer can see the knife proflie against the wall, we can see the Wheeler handle profile

I really like that concept though, try and shoot it again if you can, that's a good marketing shot.

Same with that, framing a little lower to keep the light tubes out would make it a better photo
The way they are splayed out like that, they do look like bears.
They must pick up some dust off the floor, like huge dust mops.

Good pic idea too, Try and look up so we can see your face.

Some knives I made for xmas gifts this year. Used to hollow grinding razors so flat grinding was a little difficult for me at first but got better as I went along.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what you mean by that... I wear hats like that all the time, but I'm not sure what that has to do with a cowboy hat?

I'd probably be more open to all the criticism of the photos if they weren't just something I did real quick and dirty with a little point 'n shoot, tripod, and 10 second timer. I just took the color out for kicks. I wasn't trying to be super artsy, LOL. ;) :)

The ABS mafia does those big hats...
I was making fun of that.

If you're doing those photos yourself, that's pretty good.
It's hard to do it when you can't see what you're looking at.

Seriously, keep working on that first photo I think it's got promise.
