Working with the flu stinks! those are looking great though!

Just finished up 2 last minute Christmas orders. This is starting to feel like a job! I am glad to finally be caught up. Now I can get back to working on my Bowie! Top is an 8" gyuto out of cpm154 at 61rc and African blackwood scales. The other is a hunter also out of cpm154 at 61 with cocobolo and black g10 liners. I really like the blackwood. It has way more figure than I thought it would.

Really nice work Matt! Free hand or jig?

Free hand but I square up my plunges on the grinder with a file guide. It's probably the one tool I feel I should've got when I first started.

Respect sir. I didn't get the file guide at first either, but I don't regret the time spent without it. Made me appreciate it.

I made four of these for a friend of mine to give as corporate gifts for his business. He and a few of his colleagues go on a moose hunting trip every year. This year, he used one of my knives and I guess the guys liked it.

52100 steel
Hemp wrapped handles
6" ceramic sharpening rod

I love the box! Great way to package up a nice knife.

Kosa, cool knife!
how are you going to make those invisible screws and pivot?!?
:D

working on some small ( 2 1/2"- 3" blades) drop point hunters. now my mission is to not ruin the polish while finishing the knife :roll eyes:

Just got this one done...
A Sodbuster Mini
It seemed the junior sodbuster was just a little to big for me to carry everyday in the pocket.
So I thought I would down size it a bit and thin it out.

Here it is next to a junior sodbuster I made last week.
This is now my forth slippy and totally addicted to them.
OAL 5 7/8"
Closed 3 5/16
Dark Green G10
3/32" 01 steel
Half stop
Flush in all positions
Relieved liners

Done on a 2x 42 craftsman

I called these "Santukini" a small blade knife with a shape that reminds of a Santoku designed to cut pizza, one needs to be finished by wednesday, so I will post finished pictures soon.
