Mine works great, I need to make a pad and maybe a little switch box so I only have one set of leads, but it puts out both ac and dc current and the dc side is adjustable, not sure what else you would need.
Ya I used a dpdt switch. I was hoping it would work but I don't think the output current was enough. Maybe they're not all the same? I will go back and mess with it some more.

I just finished this hunter in 1084 with micarta and whitetail antler. My buddy wanted it customized with the name and deer.

I just finished restoring and getting up and running this Hammond UBG-132 belt grinder.

I had a young man who reached out to me months back for a shop visit for an art class. Finally got together. I feel bad for making him drink from the fire hose, bit you can only cover so much in three hours. I sent him home with basically a kit knife that we put together. We ground and heat treated the blade and got the handle fitted up. He has a lot of filing and sanding to do, but that sort of thing builds character.

A couple of things going on in the shop.

Finally got around to getting the Kevin Powers disc work rest water jetted and welded up by one of my friends.
If you haven't read the thread Kevin started, here it is.

I don't know him personally, but there's no doubt he could have made a bunch of money selling these plans, but he gave them freely and that's a real testament to his character. I hope I can pay it forward to someone else in need of help sometime.

Also did a little Steve Culver hack on the kmg tool rest

Also trying a couple of different designs w2, tapered tangs and getting ready for some satanite.

Great job hope it works well for you. I have a waterjet at my work but haven't gotten around to cutting any out yet. So far I've only plasma cut a bunch. It should go together easy with the water jet.

That looks great!

Now you get to see that micarta darken, I have some on my bench and it is cool to see it change over time.

Josh,
Did you happen to get those Scale sets from WSSI? They look like Mike's Colors?

Nope, I never buy scales. I always rip my own from blocks. Handle configurations are my own designs. I actually don't even know what WSSI is... Lol.
Blessings,
Joshua

Edit * lol I looked them up. No I've never bought blocks from them. I go through a multitude of different suppliers, kind of just buy when I think it will look good and doesn't cost me a trillion dollars. Thought WSSI was completely something else. Apologies if I sounded defensive in any way. :D

Started on the disc grinder build. The disc has a bit of movement, as I need a 10M set screw. This is just a vfd test. Working as intended.
