Just finished this up. It's my sixth knife, my first scandi, and my first woodlore. This is ridiculously sharp - I'm running out of hair on my left arm!
5/32 1095 25° inclusive grind.

That sword is awesome Justin.
I've been fortunate to make blades for someone that does firearms and weapons training. And I found the magic marker setting on my phone's camera so that was big.

After thinking about it for about 10 years, I'm finally getting into kydex sheaths. I've made four so far, and they turned out pretty well. I don't have any pics of the sheaths, but I do have a couple of the press I just finished building today:

Yes, it's overbuilt. That's just how I roll.

Tried something different on some kwaikens. Top swedge is ground on small wheel attachment. Love the look of the double hollows.

Just finished this up, my seventh knife.

Looks good,
You may want to round the edges on that handle a bit more, From the pic, looks like it would give hot spots with some heavy work.

Nice almost full flat grind, should slice well.

This is my latest knife. I have been struggling to finish knives because I keep starting new things and it seems like knives never get finished; however, I did finish this one out of W2 with my first cord wrap and I really like it. The sheath works super smooth....Sharpend to a 6000 mirror edge...not to bad for cutting bananas:eek::D...

I just wanted to share! Comments are more than welcomed!

Had some interesting orders come through the shop recently. First up is an oversize caping utility in 0.0938 1095,just a hair over 3.75" cutting edge, wearing Greenberg's Kingwood. This lil sucker is SHARP!

Next up is a Santoku/Nakiri Hybrid (at least thats what Im calling it), very stout 0.125" with the cutting edge 4.625". Stacked Kingwood, black paper micarta, brass and Desert ironwood handle adds a nice look.

Last up a Utility SD Knife getting ready for handle once my belts get here.

Time to heat some steel :D

Tmax = 1280*C
Set Temp Holding = +/-0,2*C
Power: 3.000W 240V
Chamber: 430mm x 120mm x 175mm
Insulation: J-23 brick + 2x 50mm Morgan Ceramics SuperWool Plus 1100

I will paint on him: MIL-STD BOMB-PROOF :D

Been a bit of a rough week but on the bright side I finally got my stencils in and was able to get my ghetto etching station going. I think I will definitely be getting some professional etching solution but for now salt water works ok. :)

Josh,

Those are beautiful. Great work brother
