I'm only gonna take it to 400gr that's why i stopped at 220

then take it to 400 or even 600 pre HT

Cleaning after HT with 600 and then a few moves with new, sharp and dry 400 gives a nice, clean 400 finish
Removing 220 scratches after HT is a pain in the you know where

I don't have any 600 gr. But I'll definitely take it up to 400 then.

Gotta touch up the handle a bit and bring the swell down, finish the sheath, sharpen and ship.

Can't really do to much to my other blade cause I ran outta sand paper. Ground this one out and I like it alot better. But do you think theveryone blade is too wide?

No exactly going on IN my shop, but going ON my shop. Finally getting a REAL roof instead of a tarp. A generous man down the road a piece that lost the roof on his shop during hurricane Mathew gave me enough steel to put a real roof on mine since he put all new steel on his. Supper stoked about this as I have had to replace the tarp on mine 3 times in the last year. I'll feel a lot better about calling it a "shop" now as well as protecting my tool investments.

Nope I don't think it's too wide.

To me the ricasso looks a tiny bit too big? I would move the plunge back towards the handle a wee bit.
