Been a while since I posted here. So, here's one I'm trying to finish up. 80crv2 and curly maple.

Trying to figure out a way to apply aqua Fortis to the curly maple but get it to penetrate very deep and then send blocks off to k&g. I love the way it makes the wood look but it's kind of a pain to use! Also tried tru oil for the first time -- it dries way too fast for me! I have so much cleanup to do now it's crazy...

Got a stencil made but I botched the etch up pretty good. I accidentally moved the stencil while etching... Lol another one for my shop knife pile

Finally picked up a surface plate from Grizzly. Turns out I just can't get things quite flat on my disc grinder. (User error - it spins too fast for me)

I will call this one Spite Fighter  He fight with me from start ...I barely saved bevels ... then I forget that this MF is HSS and start hand sanding ........and ruined good belt finish:D Then I decide to use 5 min. epoxy to seal and install/peen gard so I can use free time i have to install scale.........and glued it and peen it backwards , can you believe that ?? Next time I over peen new pin and I had to use file to correct gard from blade side :D So here I m ........almost done .BUT this MF does not give up , I just see one more scratch
That walnut is best I ever put on handle , i will make short video clip when I finish it , if this ever end up ............:D

Well guys what happening this days in my shop is not funny anymore  Hole in blade for gard pin was 3mm , and I drill 3.5mm hole in gard by mistake. Then I enlarge hole in blade for gard pin on 4mm and guess what ....... I drill 4.5mm hole in gard ?????? Now I need to find/make 4.5mm pin or to drill 5mm everything :D
Second one is finished , hardest , the thinnest and lightest /115 grams/ F1 copy on planet is ready ....

And one more thing ............. this small Makita STAY here , for cutting I have another one . I will make some intelligent/adjustable stand .I think that it can do many things for me .........It was joke to open precisely that 3mm slot in gard ,fit is very tight .
