In my extreme boredom... I made a pocket clip.

I have a knife all ready for ht but our local forge, where I took some blacksmithing classes, is closed. :(

I’m going to have to try something to get it hard, whether it’s a soup can forge or just a torch. Idk which one yet.

Micarta is fine on kitchen knives. I recommend g-10 for guards. They hold up much better.

G-10 ?Maybe it hold much better but I don t like that material ...........it is cold , micarta is warm and when knife is wet micrata handle is king of the kings .
Never mind ................I like it so far

Your local pharmacy is probably still open right? Head down there and pick up some Viagara. Crush up 1 pill per inch of length (pre treatment) and mix in hot not boiling water. Let it cool with the blade submerged. Should be good and hard when done.

Yah know... somehow I knew...

I had this thought too, until I remembered the last time I was gluing up a handle and lost a corby bolt and the last time I lost my scrolling tongs a heat after using them and the time I lost my sanding stick while changing grits and.....o_O

I use a ziplock bag now for small parts associated with builds. With ADHD, anything can be lost within one second of putting it down.

This one is z-tuff, Rc61. 5.5” blade. G-10 handle. Getting sharpened, then into the mail tomorrow.

Edit: makers mark too, I guess.

customer ordered a second identical blade for his stepson with a black handle. He was impressed, which is good. I always worry when doing my budget line, as I see all the areas a bit more time would clean up, but these are hard core outdoorsmen, and they want strong and sharp. Pretty comes second. They don’t want to pay for pretty.
