I think you're onto something.. then again I'm a sucker for puukko profiles. The fuller is definitely interesting, I bet she looks mean when you're done.Working my way down through the 3-v! This looked good on paper , then it started looking weird , now it's growing on me!View attachment 1652949View attachment 1652952View attachment 1652951View attachment 1652950
Like itBorrowed a fellow knife makers Scotch-Brite belt (it's the first time I've used one) I'm definitely going to have to get me one of these!View attachment 1651654

this is a weird project in that there was no planning involved. I had in mind when I received the forged billet fromMecha that a swedge would be neat, but really just decided to do it today. Everything about this project presented a pretty significant risk for failure since I was making it up as I went, but it's just about finished and I'm feeling surprisingly pleased with myself at the moment.

one cool thing about wet molding leather to titanium is you can leave it in there for days, months or years and that titanium will just keep on glowing
Got the work rest plate and stand finished for the Milwaukee band saw.
Wahoooo, no more hacksaw or sawzall

And much safer than an angle grinder. I try to stay away from the angle grinder as much as humanly possible. This thing works GREAT! Talk about saving time and belts. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

It sucks when that happens. It feels like shards of glass hitting you as it’s flaking apart. In fact just last week I survived my first cutting wheel explosion, after years of using an angle grinder:
