I've posted in progress pics of this knife before. This is slipjoint #6 for me and I'm pretty proud of this one.
Elementary school-sheeple friendly, colourfull&shiny-non agressive looking.
Can't wait to slaughter an apple with this one!

2 11/16" closed with a 2" blade (68 / 50mm)
Stainless niolox with pink ivory on G10 liners.

Started playing with my fiber laser. Had this idea since many years ago, now I can make it a reality.
Branded it as ToonMascus (didn't like doodmascus/doodlemascus)
The first kitchen knife with this non damascus pattern...!

I love it!😂

Just handled this Western Bowie for a guy who's brother died in an accident. This knife lost its handle in the same accident.I added the bronze spacer in front of the guard because the original guard was so gappy. I also added the brass liners. I'm going to make him a new sheath too.1647744452994.jpg1647744370817.jpg1647744289430.jpg

Finished. I'm happy with everything except the photos. I don't have the patience to sort out lighting that does it justice.
The blade is very glossy, 2000 grit or so, and so it reflects everything on the ceiling or around the room.
The handle is nice and dark and I buffed the pins so you see 13 tiny reflections of yourself.

Waiting on abrasives to come in so I can finish this Magnacut Chef's Knife. Got some teak burl scales cut out for it though.

Profiled some little grafting knife blanks from scraps of several Magnacut kitchen knives. First time trying a partial tang. Above them is a Tina grafting knife for comparison

Made a new strop from an old belt and a rosewood plank someone gave me. Its almost 15" long in total.

Here's a new stubby skinner in 5/32" 8670. About 7 1/4 OAL with SS Bolster and Butt Plate, Ironwood and timely colored G10 spacers finished to 2000 grit and buffed. The blades at 1200 grit.
