I've been slowly working on this....... thing. Its kind of a big, brute de forge, Scagel-ish, skinner..... thing. I'm doing it up with a handle of deer antler, moose antler, birch bark and other stuff. Last night's task was to notch, angle, and assemble all the assorted handle pieces into a perfect arch. Because all the handle pieces are angled, I couldn't figure out how to use alignment pins. So, each piece was slotted VERY CAREFULLY so I had a perfectly tight, slop-free fit. The wrought iron guard will be etched, which means I need to have some picky work yet to do.

Fun project!! :p

That wenge really looks incredible. Gonna have to try some. Is it naturally stable or should it be stabilized?

Here are some S7, 5160, 3V, & 1075 knives getting profiled.

Definitely recognize those two twins at the top...very cool of you to do that. What steel are those?

And the two huge recurve choppers are very nice.

That does look like a neat project! The slotting must have been a bit tedious

Couple of straight razors freshly finished.

This one measures 15/16 - 8/8" wide with a smiling edge and ram's horn scales. Made from CruForgeV.

This is a smaller one at 7/8" wide with carbon fiber scales. Made from W2.
