whats the most you ever paid for a knife?

$256 for a Case.
Wasn't a Tony Bose inspired special production either.
Just a plain semi-olde (85?) stockman.
Didn't bother me near as much as first time I spent
a hundred buck$ on a knife.
Thought I'd really 'lost it' at the time.

Most I paid was like $200 or so for a BM Auto-Resistor. Was living with parents during college. Now, I look at knives that cost that much and dream.

Yep, I hear ya. I have just as much fun finding an elcheapo
I won't mind carrying & using. Like a $15 1998 Chestnut 63032.
Or a green alox SAK Cadet.
Or an even cheaper no.6 carbone Opinel. :D
Guess we'll just have to wait for the debut of the:
' Whats the least you ever paid for a knife? ' thread

$300 for small Sebenza and almost $300 for a Strider PT, only kept the Seb. Im just glad CRK only has a couple of folders, I like the Mnandi, Umnum, want a large..!

That is a sweet looking knife :)

$900 for a "1 of 1" Unique Korth Ikoma Bali (similar to the one pictured, but sculpted green handles):

Over $6k for an Emerson Rhino. Best investment I ever made. Could sell it right now and make 2k or 3k in profit if I wanted.

Wow, what a crazy coincidence. I just ran across your "Help Me Pay for an Emerson Rhino" post while having a late lunch. Glad to hear you found your "Grail". That's cool. BTW, some of my wife's side of the family lives down in Plant City, FL.

My most expensive was a Bugei Trading Co. Crane katana. Not sure if that really qualifies as a "knife", but there you have it. I make the shorter stuff.:D

Around $700 for a Crawford Kasper. I would gladly pay $1000 to $1200 for the 5" version on the Kasper, and not think twice about it.

Let's just say it was in the thousands (if I get too specific, I will be skinned alive by the wife).

The important question would be: "what knife would she use for that?"

For me, my dearest knife would be $95+shipping for a hand made Khukiri, second dearest would be under $70.
My dearest flashlight though cost me over US$500 all up - 212W, 7000+ Lumen, unique.

$1200 for a Busse Argonne Assault. Probably would have kept it if it had fit my hand.

Not including other Busse knives, the most I've spent on a knife is around $400 for a sebenza. I sold the sebenza but will probably buy another one day.

In the past few years the most I've spent was $240 for a Bradley Alias.

(cutter17) im about right there with you, with a fileworked kasper flipper framelock i bought from crawford at a knife show a few years ago;750.00

I can't remembe he exact amount but I paid ruffly 145-150 dollars for my benchmade nimravus and my fallkniven f1.

$60 or $70 for a Boker Cinch Stag Trapperliner. I have a $50 limit on any given day. That day I had a little more ;)

$15,500 for a knife? Pics or it didn't happen :D
