whats the most you ever paid for a knife?

~$200

While I love my knives I can't seem to get past that $200 threshold. If I have more than that to spend I tend to be drawn to firearms. For not much more I can get something new for my Recoil Therapy sessions.

I have dropped ~$1000 on a firearm though :o.

Most for me was about $800 but I had to sell it recently so we wont talk about that :grumpy:

This one truly takes the cake, esp since its a user :D Paid way too much for this ($720 tmd), but I HAD to have it. I will never sell it.

$1200 for a Busse Argonne Assault. Probably would have kept it if it had fit my hand.

$300 for my benchmade 42. I'm looking for a microtech dragonfly now and I've seen that it's been going around for about $300 as well and I'd gladly get it. Is it good for my wallet? No. Do I still feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I swing my beautiful expensive, probably-overpriced knife? YUP.

$550 ish for a Busse FFBM or Gladius, I forget which one was more

$350 on Small Sebenza 21 but I am going to be paying $500 for a Large Sebenza with micarta Inlays next week

$550 for a pre-patent pending buck 184

$750 for a japanese made iaito when I was training tameshigiri

I think it was $1200, but most knives that I buy are typically in the $150-350 range.

$59.99 for a Ka-bar Becker BK2, but technically I have more $ in it since I stripped the finish and got micarta handles...so maybe more like $100?
