But the color made me think wood, but that doesn't seem right.
He did a great job! But then Leroy always does.
could be but that blade pointed left pic, with the variations in tone near the bolsters as I see in bone all the time, made me think bone. either way real darn nice lookin.

jigged bone?
Yes, it is jigged bone. When I talked with Leroy about new scales for this knife I told him I wanted jigged bone and that I really liked the old style jigged bone that Buck used in the 80s and 90s. He said that that was hard to come by...but, he had an older 110 that had the brown jigged bone and that he would take them off and put'em on this one. He so helpful and such a good person.:thumbsup:
