Save your questioning of my integrity for w&c. This isn’t the place for your history of beefs.

Oh how convenient… “well I don’t like Para so o can just throw out his anecdotal evidence”.
Given that we have direct, hard evidence that contradicts your anecdotal evidence, yes, we can absolutely throw it out.

Because it’s clear that you (and others) have zero interest in holding other manufacturers to the same standard.
This is according to you. Blaming other manufacturers for what Hoback did is projecting and not in any case justifies his actions. This thread concerns just Hoback, if you have nothing more to say about his issue, please don’t change the conversation, they are plenty of pointless opinions that filled 50 so pages.

No, actually you can’t. I have two Pena knives without the stickers, and since it conflicts with your statements you’ve decided to make it personal and smear my integrity to cover your own ass.

No point in questioning things that don't exist.

Yup. Your evidence is anecdotal and easily countered with pictures of Pena boxes labeled with Made in China stickers.
Yeah? Did Jake Hoback claim to be a super SEAL delta ranger operator assassin? I must’ve missed that.

Consider reading what I wrote. " But, now that you've mentioned it, Hoback is doing the same deny/distract/downplay/delete game that Strider did when his bullshit came out."

The single picture in this thread utterly disproves the idea that Pena is systematically removing the stickers.

Hoback, on the other hand, has delivered hundreds, if not thousands, of Chinese knives to dealers and apparently none of them had the appropriate labeling. It's laughable that you're even trying to compare the situations.

No point in questioning things that don't exist.
Your report history would prove otherwise.

..which are also countered by my boxes without them. But that doesn’t suit your narrative.

Actually he isn’t doing anything remotely close to what Strider (Burglar) did. He published a list of the COO, has filmed videos apologizing, and who knows what’s next. Mickey Burglar doubled down on his bullsh*t until people investigated his credentials.

Again.. apples vs oranges. Do you know what that means?

So two isn’t enough? Tell me how many Pena knives without stickers meets your standard. +1 to whatever I own I’ll bet.

1) You saying that the boxes don't have stickers doesn't mean the boxes don't have stickers. You could easily show pictures/video of your stickerless boxes, and then people may believe you.
2) Your boxes not having stickers is irrelevant. Pena clearly lists the country of origin for his knives on his boxes, marketing material, and on dealer websites.

3) Hoback does not clearly list the country of origin for his knives on his boxes, marketing materials, and on dealer websites. A chart was on his instagram, but then he deleted it.

Pena knives are irrelevant here. Hoback, the topic of discussion, lied either implicitly or explicitly for years, and that's what people are upset about.

Nobody cares if your two knives have stickers or not. Peña knives are clearly announcing their collaboration w Chinese company, Hoback’s knives ( THE SUBJECT OF THIS CONVERSATION ) - not.

With his X-Series Peña has teamed up with Reate Knives to deliver his custom designs in a more affordable price point while still retaining some of the highest quality fit, finish and material available.

Ah, I removed them. How convenient! That would suit you just fine.
2) Your boxes not having stickers is irrelevant. Pena clearly lists the country of origin for his knives on his boxes, marketing material, and on dealer websites.
That wasn’t the point being made. Insipid stated the stickers had to be on the product. I have two examples in which they don’t.

Not talking about Hoback. Talking about Pena. Put the goalpost down.

Irrelevant because I just made Insipid look bad? Convenient. I guess I was just expected to take an “L” here.. and not prove you wrong.

Please stop embarrassing yourself.

Only one embarrassing themselves in front of thousands of viewers is you. Ouch.

Again, not the point. I was using Pena to argue against Insipid’s point that the stickers have to be on the box. Keep up.

Your report history would prove otherwise.
LOL. How would MY report history show that you have integrity? If anything it shows the opposite.

..which are also countered by my boxes without them. But that doesn’t suit your narrative.
Nope. We have pictures and video of the boxes with stickers. We do not have pictures or videos of your boxes with or without the stickers.

Actually he isn’t doing anything remotely close to what Strider (Burglar) did. He published a list of the COO, has filmed videos apologizing, and who knows what’s next. Mickey Burglar doubled down on his bullsh*t until people investigated his credentials.

Hoback published, and then unpublished, a list of the COO and filmed videos apologizing AFTER people investigated his credentials.

Give it a rest. I already asked you to take your crap to w&c. Don’t bring it here and decide to stop hiding from me just because you think you have an audience of fans.
Nope. We have pictures and video of the boxes with stickers. We do not have pictures or videos of your boxes with or without the stickers.
Would it matter? Of course not.
Hoback published, and then unpublished, a list of the COO and filmed videos apologizing AFTER people investigated his credentials.
And that is a parallel with Mickey Burglar…. How?
