When it's not exactly Made in the USA - Hoback

So, you have not provided any evidence that you have Pena boxes without stickers stating that they're made in China. Saying you have two Pena boxes without stickers != you have two Pena boxes without stickers.

Were you to have two Pena boxes without stickers, it would still not change that the law requires country of origin to be labeled on products that are imported into the US, as Insipid brought up and provided evidence for. Derek Chauvin committing murder doesn't mean that there are no laws against Murder.
Wait.. I thought you didn’t want me talking about Pena? Now you want pictures of the boxes?

For the love of god, make up your damn mind.

We here to talk about Hoback, or how much you hate me? Can’t do both.
🤣… “We are here”… Not you for sure, if one reads the last 10mpages…
I see, all of a sudden you forgot about Peña. I guess, since you already spoke a lot about Hoback and everyone knows your position, you got nothing more to say ?

Even the newly posted chart is misleading. He has stuff listed as "USA/China" but after this debacle I have no doubt if just one fastener was made in the USA he'd list it that way rather than "China/USA".

Basically yeah, interspersed with the occasional update.

So if you know about Hoback's IG posts and apology, their subsequent deletion, and that audio of him saying "yeah it's all made here" at a trade show you're not missing anything in these 55 pages.
Got it.

I was the second post in the thread and still have the same opinion if not more negative.

When you "apologize (blame dealers)" then delete it all, block people and delete comments then that alone tells me what I need to know. I'm so glad I had already gotten rid of all my Hobacks.

Your criticism of my integrity is not a “Hoback” topic. I’ve asked three times now for you to take this to w&c. What’s your game here? To piss off moderators and get the thread shut down.. then blame me for it because you kept bringing w&c crap to the open forum? Well, there is a precedent for it with you.

Your lack of integrity is relevant when you are trying to make the argument that because you say your boxes don't have Made in China stickers that somehow makes what Hoback is doing okay.

Just as likely someone found “made in China” stickers and out them on a Pena box. Right? Of course.. but you won’t admit to it.
No. That isn't just as likely. Pena's website says that they're made in China. His promotional materials say they're made in China. The dealerships say that they're made in China. The boxes say they're made in China.

Really? You're positing a PHANTOM STICKERER?!

Personal accountability for the manufacturer, but not the retailers who actually posted the false COA. 🤣
So why didn't hoback set the story straight on social media 5 years ago? Oh right. He hasn't checked any of the 28 dealers websites except for when he did and "contacted" them. Right? 🤡

Aww look! The mental gymnast performs his floor routine!

The item of discussion is the sticker, which Insipid said HAS to be there. Am I going to have to break out the coloring book and crayons to help you understand? I don’t want to but I will if you want.

Anyone know what spurred Hoback to make his first post where he said he was trying to "get ahead of it" and clear the air? Were there already rumours building up or a discussion being had somewhere else? Wonder why he decided to come out and torpedo his image seemingly out of nowhere.

Wait.. I thought you didn’t want me talking about Pena? Now you want pictures of the boxes?

If YOU want people to believe your statements about the boxes, then it would behoove you to take pictures.

I don't think you should waste your time or ours taking pictures of boxes, as whether or not your boxes have stickers on them is irrelevant to the law or to Hoback. As I said, were you to have two Pena boxes without stickers, it would still not change that the law requires country of origin to be labeled on products that are imported into the US, as Insipid brought up and provided evidence for.

It is obvious that you are not willing, or perhaps capable, of making a rational argument in defense of Hoback, or of staying on topic, and so I'm going to draw my end of our conversation to a close. No point in encouraging you to make more posts that people have to wade through.
